I absolute love Geno's!! Sit out on the patio if you can. The building itself is old and a little musty, but I feel like I'm back in time listening to Frank Sinatra and enjoying the good ole days. I always get the shrimp salad, but my coworkers always get the alfredo. Everything is always delicious!

Real Italian gravy not just tomato sauce on the spaghetti! The Vegetarian lasagna was also very good. Nice portion size and we were made to feel like the family.

Probably first ones there for supper. Prompt courteous service. Ample portions, and we did not need dessert.

This place is the best secret in Monroe. I went twice while in Monroe. Great lasagna and Alfredo. Everything is fresh and may take a few extra minutes for service. Well worth the wait! This place is off the beaten path a little but worth the travel.

There is something to be said about tradition. Geno's is not glamorous, but my wife and I do not go for glamor. We go for good friends, for old familiar recipes and a reminder of simpler times. We also go for the food and great Italian desserts. Recently, we paid a return trip and ordered caponata as an appetizer (a... More

Upon arrival, we were seated promptly, which is about the best thing I can say about this place. The high ratings confound me. The inside smells musty, and is very old fashioned. Some may call it quaint, but someone needs to dust this place. At first, a little concerned as there was only one table occupied inside, none outside. That... More

We love eating here so much we decided to eat here once a month. We are into our second year of monthly visits. I can't stop ordering the Lasagna. It is delicious. Our service has always been excellent. Red use to take care of us, but now it's Chad. We have no complaints. If the weather is good, make sure... More

Geno's is by far our favorite Italian restaurant. A small quaint restaurant with homemade family recipe that has been passed down through generations. My favorite is spaghetti with meat sauce while my wife's is minestrone soup or the chef's salad. The food is excellent with very good service. If you like Italian food, then you need to try Geno's Italian... More

Geno's is a cozy little "hole in the wall" restaurant (and I mean that is the very best way) with awesome Italian food!! It has a real authentic Italian feeling when you enter the courtyard! Great for a romantic dinner or just an evening out with friends!! A must when in Monroe, Louisiana!!

This is my wife's favorite restaurant. It's a cozy little family-owned place that's been around for decades. We have probably eaten here more than any other restaurant in Monroe. The lighting inside is very low with candles lit to make it romantic for couples. It's not really a place to bring the kiddos, but I have seen kids eat there... More
