Wow! The duck wraps were fabulous, but Terry made the most unique drink - the Ole Smokey. Oh my!!! You have to try it, and be sure Terry is working behind the bar!

Duck Wraps, great way to start the day in Old Downtown Monroe, duck is tender wrapped in bacon with a lil sweet syrup to balance it out. Roast Beef Po Boy and Shrimp and Grits that had a great blend of flavors.

Excellent restaurant to enjoy a meal and drinks and be able to carry on a conversation. We started off with a salad (which a couple can share and have plenty) we followed with Crawfish Two Ways over fettuccine and Duck Wraps. Food was outstanding and...service was as well. Definitely worth going for a great experience.More

I was here for a rehearsal dinner with about 50-60 people. They should have had 3 people working the room, but only had two. Also they should have had water on the tables instead of having to request it and have constant refill requests. The...food was really good, but mine was cold. I understand that timing is hard with a group, but I was disappointed.More

We went to Cotton last Saturday night while in Monroe for the Dixie League Boys World Series. The waitress gave us a brief history of the building, pointing out the highlights of one of the oldest buildings in Monroe. The specialty cocktails were very interesting....I ordered a cocktail called "The Ole Smokey." When brought to the table, it is infused with smoke from a fire set on top of the glass. Awsome presentation, and the drink was delicious. My main course was the Crawfish Two Ways. Best dinner I have had in years. And I almost forgot to mention the biscuits. The kind that almost melts in your mouth. My only regret was there was no room for dessert. I highly recommend Cotton when you get to Monroe.More

Just went to Sunday brunch at Cotton and it was awesome! We enjoyed the Duck Wraps and Biscuit Beignets for appetizers! The Duck Wraps were amazing and the Beignets were tasty as well, served with cane butter. I enjoyed the brunch buffet which had an...array of breakfast/lunch options as well as an omelet station. I chose the short ribs and mashed potatoes. I also had a taste of the crawfish mac and cheese - didn't love that. The biscuits melted in your mouth and the bread pudding was unbelievable! My friends had the classic benedict which was perfect and the fried chicken and waffles! Service was attentive and perfect. If we find ourselves in Monroe again, we'd definitely come back!More

Made reservations for dinner Wed. Feb.26, on line. No acknowledgement, so called & connected. Arrived at 7:05 P.M. only about 8 customers there. Waiter tried to help as we wanted to know if they could broil Black Drum instead of blackening it; answer no.Waiter could...not answer basic questions; he was only one there. We ordered Redfish broiled, & wedge salad before. Salad came promptly but very small amount of Blue Cheese dressing. My Redfish still had scales on i; but was very tasty otherwise.I have never had fish served in a restaurant with fish scales still on it. We were disappointed in the experience.More

I travel a lot for my job. TripAdvisor Is a godsend to help me not go to an attractive restaurant that’s mediocre. As such, I chose one ranked #2 and was not disappointed. The duck popper appetizer melts in your mouth. I had a blackened...catfish topped with crawfish over mashed potatoes. Again, every bite did not disappoint. Vibe was a prohibition type atmosphere. Not your TV hand night vine but if you’re looking for great food and relaxing atmosphere, definitely worth it.More

The food was HORRIBLE!!! The boudin balls were not seasoned and had no taste that resembles "boudin". Most restaurant would have politely taken it off if you didn't like the item, but not here. I'm glad I'm in a position that it was no big...issue, just saying next customer might not be so friendly. The waitress was more friendly to "certain customers". I left her $10 tip which I normally leave more. Most definitely will not return and recommend this spot to ANYONE!!! After I posted my review on the Facebook page "The Cotton" blocked me!!! Upgrade your service and food quality you won't need to block customers with honest reviews!More

Had a large dinner planned, they didn't pay attention to details. I personally sat at bar for dinner, had to ask for a drink, then a menu, then to put in my order. Food was okay, they need to work on a few things.
