Definitely try the charbroiled oysters. The fried seafood is very good, but if I were to go back, I'd probably just have oysters and gumbo.

Amazing food and awesome service! Hostess seated us quickly, very kind and was able to accommodate a large party (10). Food was out in reasonable time and tasted wonderful! definitely our go to next time we are in town!

Had to wait in line to get in. Pretty rustic and basic inside. More like a noisy fast food joint in my opinion. Portions are HUGH. If you want fried everything then this is your place. Saw some tables eating raw oysters but not where...More

Rather than fight the tourists downtown we stayed out by the airport and tried this restaurant. The food was outstanding. We went at 8pm and whole busy we were seated immediately. We tried several variations of po boys, they were each fantastic. The oyster and...More

Stopped here for dinner. Casual place. Started with the crab claws which were tasty small and fried, but perfect size to snack on. I do not care for raw oysters, but my dining companion suggested the char grilled oysters saying that if I didn't care...More

Stopped in one afternoon after work craving raw oysters. They were delicious, salty and ice cold. And the oyster shuckers were so friendly. Definitely recommend this for some raw or oysters and ice cold brew!

Great oyster. Especially the chargrilled. Not your steak house. Everything seafood is great. I love the oysters best.

Do they have a carry out menu or delivery service? We are staying just a block or two away and would love to order and dine in our room.

Ready314 put it right, there are numerous good seafood restaurants in Metairie. A acme is very good and less expensive than most. If you like Gumbo, try chef's Ron Gumbo. It's harder to find but well worth it.
