If you're looking for a romantic dinner, or a great place to take the family, Vincent's fits both descriptions, and most importantly, has GREAT good. Vincent the owner is usually on site and will pass by your table and say hello. Don't miss THE place to have a great dinner when you're in the mood for Italian good.

Starry, starry night Paint your palette blue and gray Look out on a summer's day With eyes that know the darkness in my soul Shadows on the hills Sketch the trees and the daffodils Catch the breeze and the winter chills In colors on the snowy linen land Now, I understand, what you tried to say to me And how... First time visiting, and found the atmosphere cozy and quiet. Our table was set nicely, and was waited on quickly. The waiter recommended trying the fried Eggplant with lump crab meat covered with a light red sauce appetizer. We ordered this and was very delighted with the taste, and would recommend it. Highly recommend the Cannelloni, one of the house... More

This restaurant is a little piece of Italy - from the little guy meeting you at the door to the pistachio ice cream at dessert. Eggplant parmesan met expectations and we really enjoyed the bread sticks that adorn every table. The restaurant is sort of hidden behind Pelican Point Car Wash, but worth the time to find and dine.

This is another one of those venerable New Orleans establishments that it is so well hidden, it is patronized primarily by locals. This traditional Italian restaurant serves some of the best Sicilian food ever to find its way to America. the Artichoke Vincent and Rose of Italy appetizers should not be missed.

The atmosphere is cozy, the tables are close to each other. The waiter was more helpful to make suggestions, selling items. The recommended wine was a flat overpriced red. The entrees tasted "ok", americanized italian dishes. Given the large number of competing restaurants in the area, it will be some time before I come back.

We had a last minute dinner to set up for 6 business out of town forum participants and had 60 minutes to set up to show them real New Orleans food since we did not have time to venture too far from the airport. This place (as well as Austins) is the best food in Metairie near the airport. The... More

Very good Italian food. The soup, served in bread bowls are really tasty and the bread bowl is too good not to eat. I've eaten several entrees and all are really great. The veal dishes, seafood, all very good. Last night I had the limoncello gelato dessert was absolutely incredible. Negative are the standard sides of pasta Alfredo and vegetable.... More

We were visiting the area to drop off a car and found the restaurant through our WYES card. I had the crabmeat ravioli lunch special and it was the best ravioli I have ever had. My husband had the bracialoni with angel hair pasta and their wonderful red sauce. The red sauce was the best we have ever had in... More

Always a favorite Italian restaurant of mine, along with their Uptown location. Like most popular restaurants, they tend to be busy on the weekends, so reservations are a good idea. Tables are close together and it can tend to be noisy when they are busy. Don't hesitate to go during the middle of the week for a more relaxed environment... More
