I go there often not only for food periodically but for the cheese counter. The have a wonderful grilled cheese sandwich on wheat pita bread and the a great selection of cheese to bring home as well. The mango stilton and the gruyere cheese is wonderful as it's two of my favorites.

My favorite chicken salad! They have a large selection of wonderful cakes as well. I sometimes order to go and take a stroll around the store looking at all the wines and gourmet foods while waiting for my lunch.

We have been going to Martin Wine Cellar for many years now, and the reason we go back is because they provide good food for lunch - salads and sandwiches. They have gone through renovations as originally they were a wine bar with some food on the side, but as their food business grew so did their restaurant and now... More

I needed to order a cheese platter for a large group for the next morning and they made this super simple! I chose the size and then let them do the rest. Before paying, we decided to grab a couple of sandwiches for dinner. It's not fast food but food well made and specially prepared upon order. Grabbed a small... More

Have been frequenting for decades. Best selection of wines and liquors in NOLA plus you can have a meal during your visit. The food is very good. Deserts are excellent too.

I have been here many times for lunch. While a bit on the pricey side, Martin Wine Cellar provides a nice lunch of salad and sandwiches in an open market seating. This time around I picked the trio salads - in which I could choose three different salads plus a side of brussel sprouts. I choose the tuna salad, the... More

I had lunch today at Martin’s Wine Cellar Deli in Metairie. I arrived about 11:30 to a 1/3 full restaurant and ordered one of their numerous salad specials, a pan seared grouper fillet on a bed of Bibb lettuce with chopped pecans and fried artichoke hearts with powdered pine nut coating and a white wine vinaigrette. It was reasonably priced... More

What an amazing find by my son, a bistro in a wine shop. The food is all gourmet quality! While we were there we picked a bottle of wine with a variety of cheeses, crackers and cookies. A must try!

With an early afternoon flight out, my Wife and I did something we have wanted to for a long time, Lunch at Martin Wine Cellar. We have shopped Wine here for years and looked at the Deli Menu many times, but timing has never worked out. This time we made it a meal Destination. Our Sandwiches were over the top... More
