our group of six adults enjoyed a relaxed meal of steaks and fish as main courses. everyone wa splashed with the cooking technique as providing the right cook temperature for the beef and a complete but not overcooked fish topped with crab. the vegetables as a side were also prepared well and not as an afterthought. wine paired nicely; although... My wife and I went here after running the roads one evening just to have a few martinis. My wife loves this restaurant and I certainly do as well. No food this time just drinks.

When I order veal at a restaurant that portrays itself as upscale, I expect veal that can be cut with the edge of your fork. The veal ordered at Andy's was thick, it was tough, and it was drowned in Alfredo sauce. We ordered a redfish on the half shell broiled with rosemary butter. Excellent flavor, and very well cooked.... More

My review is a bit different than most. The food was buffet style because it was a business meeting. The food was ok nothing great. They had a good beer selection downstairs and terrible selection upstairs.

We arrived early for dinner, not crowded. Our waiter was excellent. We had the Petit Filet, Wedge Salad, Brussel Sprouts and Twice Baked Potato. I absolutely have no complaints. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I did not feel like I was in a chain type restaurant. Give this place a try!

TASTING WITH THE TOUT Andy's Bistro, neighborhood atmosphere but a cut above. On Saturday with temps around 30, Fran and I wanted to dine out but did not want to venture too far from home. Our decision led us to Andy's Bistro on Turnbull in Metairie. We have dined there several times and have always come away with a good... More

Had Christmas Eve dinner with family. The restaurant was busy as one would expect on a holiday night. The waiter we had could have been the worst I have ever seen. So may examples it would take far too long to explain. It was clear that he was a fill in and not a 'real' wait person. The food, once... More

Andy's was recommended to our group for dinner. Everyone was happy with their food. All ordered gumbo. I had lamb chops which were prepared very nicely. The service was pretty good, attentive waiter. I was expecting the pricing to be a little more moderate.

The service was top notch. We had heard of the excellent preparation and menu and were not disappointed. The gumbo was spot on and our filet cooked to perfection. We will definitely return. I do not remember the exact name of the dessert we tried, but it was an amazing cheesecake. Go try it out.
