stopped there for dinner on drive east on I-10. The place is fairly easy to find, but the access is not straightforward given its location close to the highway and also a hospital nearby. The decor is really interesting with dollar bills signed by previous...More

My husband is from Louisiana and he can be quite the critic if regional food is not up to snuff with his family's cooking. Kudos to Chef Ron for making the grade! My husband and I put the seafood gumbo to the test: first rate!...More

Small place that is a bit difficult to find but well worth the effort. Gumbo was delicious. We had the grilled shrimp Po Boy that was well seasoned and delicious. The owner is awesome.

Best boudin balls I've had. Tasty and the fried coating was light and crispy. Gumbo was great with plenty of seafood. I added sausage to it, but in hindsight the sausage wasn't special so I'd stick with soup and fried shrimp only next time. I...More

In town staying at the hotel across the street, read the reviews and decided to try it. I'm so happy I did! The Boudin Balls are absolutely delicious and the Oyster Po-Boy was not skimpy on oysters at all. I was a bit concerned with...More
