Lunch in Bucktown with friends all good, Fried shrimp, catfish and onion rings, fish with crawfish sauce, gumbo done right, worth a trip from downtown for good New Orleans seafood

Last year, we ate at this restaurant and remembered how satisfied we were when we left. We returned this year, family of 25, and were not disappointed. EVERYTHING was great, as expected. There was a bit of a wait but it was worth the wait!

A couple of ladies my sister and I met suggested this place as being not touristy. And they were right. On our visit, their liquor license had been suspended for a week,so no wine on the patio for us. I think the crowd was smaller than usual due to that, so we didn't have to wait, and we were able... Stopped here for lunch while on vacation to NOLA. We had drinks and some small apps. The food was good, drinks were good, but the service lacked in quality.

On a crowded Saturday the wait wasn't long. Me and my family was seated with 15 mins as told. The service was good and the food was great as always.

The grilled oysters are great. The seafood dishes are likewise great. The fired shrimp o boys are good. I had a shrimp platter with stuffed shrimp. The stuffing had a bit more bread than I like I was expecting either crab meat or mirliton stuffing but it was neither. Still it tasted good and the was well prepared.

We were overnight in NO for a cruise and hit this place for dinner - very good choice. Local dishes are available and large portions. Not exactly cheap but not outrageous either. Our food was all very good and the service was also good! Would go back

Can't say enough good about NOFS. Everything is awesome. Good price, good food. Voodoo dolls, new pizza, oysters are always a great choice.

Charred oysters were as good as Dragos. I ordered the shrimp salad and it had so many shrimp on it. It was excellent. I am not a fan of Tuna but my son ordered that and I took a bite. It was delicious.

I have been to several of the New Orleans Food and Spirits restaurants across the metropolitan area. Their food is always consistently prepared and flavorful. The service is always prompt and attentive. And as far as value, the price is consistent with the quality of the food and service. When you dine here, bring a hearty appetite because the plate...
