On Friday, we ordered lunch for the office ($50 worth of food). They forgot my fajitas and we had to return to pick up the fajitas. Now, since we had to come back already, you would think that they would try to get the order...right. We returned to the office and the only part of the order that I received was the meat. There was no salsa, no guacamole, no sour cream, no cheese, no tortillas. The meat was hard as a rock and burned on the outside. I contacted the restaurant and the employee said you can come back to the restaurant. I advised that I could not as 1) the food would be cold; and 2) I was getting ready to start and appointment and there was no way I could go to the restaurant and back again in the 10 minutes before my appointment. The female employee said, "well, what do you want me to do?" I replied that I felt I should be given my money back. The female employee said, "I will let the manager know" and hung up on me without getting my name or number. I have eaten at this restaurant many, many times and I have never had such a bad experience. In essence, I paid almost $20 for charred meat. The manager has not reached out to me regarding this issue.More

I was at Touche' in the French Qt & a Bar back was telling about this place & the "Taco Tuesday" special they run every week. Which is 5 taco's for $5 of which you get a taco menu to pick the 5 from or...you can get Steak taco's for $2 each. So I dropped in today to check it out. The location is close to Drago's & about 3 blocks from Vet's memorial Blvd. They have A parking lot on the north side of the business that holds about 20 cars. I was seated immediately at a table for 2 by the hostess stand. The waitress brought me sweet tea to drink along with comp. chips & salsa. while I waited on the tacos I ordered. Which was 2-Steak & 1 of each of 3 different ones. SO I could try 4 so I could comment on more of their choices in my posting. HOWEVER, when my order came out I was pretty sure it was not my order due to there not being 2 steak tacos SO I wondered of they substituted my order ?? Then about the time I was finishing up my plate of 5 "unordered" tacos The tacos I actually ordered came out to me & The waitress asked if I ordered more taco's ? I said "NO" then the owner came by & asked how everything was & I informed him of the mix-up & he offered to give me the 2 steak taco's in a to go box I ordered & didn't recv. SO I liked the way they handled the error & the friendliness of the staff.More

Went here after it being recommended to us as a place to try. Service was poor and I had trouble communicating with the server over the noise in the dining room. After reviewing the menu and placing our order, we were later informed they were...out of beef. We then looked at the menu again and decided on the taco plate. It came with four crispy tacos covered in shredded lettuce. Lots of shredded lettuce! No avocado, no sour cream and very bland. The ground beef had potatoes and carrots in it and was not to our liking. When we placed the taco order we were asked if we wanted cheese and said yes. Tacos had no cheese but the bill had an upcharge for cheese. WOW!!! When I tried unsuccessfully to get our server’s attention, we decided not to eat it all as it was not appetizing. If that is authentic Mexican food, I will stick to Taco Bell and El Paso! The bar is probably what keeps them in business.More

I got the grilled chicken taco salad and queso. The Grilled chicken was dry and over cooked. I paid extra for grilled onions and guacamole for my salad and received neither. The queso was grainy and the chips were greasy. Complimentary salsa is only included...on dine in orders. Though my husband and I spent $50 we still had to pay separately for a cup of salsa with all of the food we ordered. Not a good first impression and it will be my last.More

Stopped by to try out and was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh, if not piping hot, and tasty. The chips were crunchy and the salsa was brought to us in a small carafe' which is something I had not seen before. The salsa was...fresh and tasty and not at all spicy. (I prefer spicy but I know alot of you do not) My wife and I both had the Enchilada Bonita lunch plate which included three enchiladas, rice and beans. I had the cheese and my wife had the chicken both with green (verde) sauce. $9.99 each. I thought the flavor was good but a little scrimpy on the cheese. I did enjoy the green sauce, as did my wife. We will return to try out the tacos which is what many folks rave about. 2 lunches with tip was $27.00More

I've eaten Mexican food many places in the world. Somehow this little restaurant in Metairie, Louisiana has some of the best Mexican food I've ever had! Don't miss the fajitas!
