My son used to cook for Liz. I live out of state and when I come visit my son (he no longer works at Liz's). I always go to Liz's. As always, the FOOD was DELISIOUS! the the waitstaff sweet and kept my coffee full....Love the funky décor there too. I usually get the seafood scrambler, always a great meal. I tried the St Charles this time. It was AMAMSING! cooked to perfection as always! Thanks LIZ for keeping my favorite Louisiana Restaurant open though all the challenges, (fire and covid). I do follow on Facebook and watch all your videos. keep up the great work! You and your staff are in my prayers always.More

First let me say, I have not seen harder workers in a restaurant since my late Grandfather’s restaurant. These people were Zoom zoom zoom!!! Very impressed with them. I had the N’awlins Benedict w/ spuds and a half order of Biscuits & Debris. The poached...egg was a little over done robbing me of the runny yoke and the fried green tomato was far from done. It was crunchy enough to cut with a knife. The spuds were just good. The other flavors were great!! Just needed tweaked. The biscuits and debris was good. Like a shredded pot roast on a biscuit. I am a huge biscuits & gravy fan and this was something new to try. For me it wasn’t the same. I should have tried the Gravy option. That’s not saying it wasn’t good. Just not for me for breakfast. Again amazing workers and service.More

We had not been back here since the Covid restrictions were relaxed. It was fairly crowded this morning, but we my wife & I had a table for four in the middle of the restaurant. We doubt everyone was socially distant enough but we ordered...and stayed inside to eat. For the two of us we had: - a waffle with an egg over medium. - biscuits & gravey with two eggs over easy. - and of course plenty of coffee refills. The service was very good, with several young ladies, including Brittany E, helping us.More

First off I just love the interior and the artwork the whole funky vibe. The customer service was outstanding each waiter had the view of they were all in it together and each person is responsible for each customer not just assigning one waiter or...waitress as being responsible for the customer. Every one of them that we interacted with had a refreshing attitude. The food was delicious to say the least the prices were very reasonable. Oh and the adult beverages were awesomeMore

We are from Ohio, we come for Breakfast on every trip. We had the bayou scrambler, debris Benedict, N'Awlins Benedict. Was old cooked perfectly, amazing fresh flavors, seafood was perfect. Left cook staff a tip. On our way out we had the pleasure of meeting...Liz the owner and her manager Irene. They were very friendly and great people. They offered to take our picture in the flamingo head mural. The kids loved it We will be back again and again!More

Turn the dang music down first. This place is extremely loud. Wife's crabmeat dish was too garlicky and was sent back. My fish was okay as was the bbq'd shrimp it came with, but the fried green tomatoes it sat on were fried within an...inch of their lives. Will not be back and that is for sure.More

I live just down the street & with the social distancing & curb service it's worked out great. Hopefully we can sit inside soon.

We had lost track of Liz re-opening 6 months or so ago after the fire, and decided to come back this morning. Same comfortable friendly atmosphere, good food, and large portions. Pictures of two of the many clever signs on the walls are attached. They...were fairly busy being a Sunday morning but we got seated right away. My wife and I had: - Blueberry waffle with walnuts ( picture attached); - Berry Crazy french toast, filled the entire plate and deicious (picture attached). We had too much bottomless coffee. Catherine did a very good job helping us. If you lost track too, come on back.More
