Great little Italian restaurant. My wife and I gave Caesar’s a try for date night and we were not disappointed. The food was authentic and really good! Relaxed atmosphere and great personal service from the owner and all the staff. We will definitely be back.

It was my wife's birthday yesterday and she decided to fix herself Veal scalloppine at home with all the stay at home restrictions. But, asked for Ceasar's Tirimisu instead of a birthday cake. When I stopped by to pick it up at the take-out window,...due to ingredient supply issues, out of their control, it wasn't ready. Ceasar came to my rescue and delivered it himself to our neighborhood by 7:00 pm. It was delicious. Picture of the half eaten dessert is attached, the tray is about 5" x 9". We'll finish it tonight. Ceasar is from North Italy near Lake Como and the recipes are of that origin.More

This Friday my husband and I had another date night. This time he took me to Ceasar's Ristorante. The atmosphere was nice, however the staff and food were excellent. We started off with a meatball appetizer which were very delicious. I had the veal in...a white wine sauce with pasta and my husband had the lasagna. Both were very good and filling. We ended with desert, which we normally don't have but the creme brulee was to die for. We will for sure will make another visit to this cozy place.More

This was not our first visit to this little slice of heaven. We had the osso bucco and it melted in your mouth. The pasta was perfect and the side veggies were a nice addition. All of the employees were kind and attentive and made...us feel comfortable. We like this restaurant because of the quiet and calm atmosphere. It feels cozy and the noise level is minimal. Thanks again for reminding us of our Italian adventures.More

When I think of our experience at Ceasar's Restorante, two words come to mind, "Personalized Service". Mr. Ceasar and his wonderful wife make sure your dining experience is excellent. The menu items are wonderful, and everything we've eaten there is so delicious. They serve homemade...bread everyday! They will customize your order to your personal taste! I really hate to write a bad review. But I think I must bring this to the restaurants attention. My sister in law and I were excited to try a new restaurant. We looked at the menu of a few local restaurants and decided on...Caesars. When we walked in we were not greeted. It took about five minutes to get the attention of a waitress. I guess they didn’t have a hostess. We were then seated where we watched a couple come in after us get served some water. We were still waiting for water. Twenty minutes passed so we decided to leave. Twenty five minutes is way to long to even be acknowledged. So disappointing 🙁More

Ww had seen an article about this place this in one of the Northshore magazines (Inside Northside, Enterprising Woman, or a similar publication) and did not realize it is where an Asian Place "Sesame Inn" once was. If you don't know where to look, you...may not see it tucked along the west side of the causeway approach less than half a mile from the lake. We think they have only been open at this spot for less than a year. And they have converted it into a cozy intimate atmosphere. The menu is similar to ones you would find in Italy, with multiple course sections including Primi (Pastas), secondi (meats), , as well as Antipasti, and desserts. For a Friday night it was not too busy so we had some time to chat with Ceasar, who is from Belagio in the north of Italy near Lake Como and Roberta. Matt did a nice job waiting on us also. My wife and I shared a Bruschetta Classica and an Insalata Al Gorgonzola with walnuts ( both very good). For next course we had a grouper and Veal special that were both excellent. A couple of glasses of Sangiovese Santa Cristina made it all go down nicely. For dessert we shared a Limoncello cake/ torte that was delicious as was the Limoncello shot I had with it and the cappuccino my wife had. By the looks of the Lasagna dishes we saw at two other tables, we may order that next time.More

Third visit to this classic restaurant with a real feeling of being in Italy. The chef regularly checks in with all diners with personal stories and insights in to the fresh and authentic food all made on-site. The veal dishes are outstanding along with home...made pasta offerings. Antipasto is true to northern Italy along with huge salads, great deserts and up to date wine list. One of if not the areas best!More

Extremely pleased in so many ways...atmosphere, cordiality, service AND superb quality food prepared in house! Calamari was perfectly prepared in very light batter. Gnocchi was fresh made with s little egg. Ravioli made fresh as was the homemade breads. The “catch of the day” fish...entree was perfectly prepared w/light wine sauce and capers. Vegetables perfectly grilled. All veal dishes were deliciously prepared. ALL Appetizers, entrees and even the desserts were generous portions! The wine list was superb AND our mixed drinks were were served as requested—-WITH ACTUAL 7-Up (NOT Sprite)!!! CPrices were very moderate. BOTH Chef Ceasar and his wife served our table snd was extremely attentive and explained in detail each question we had! I and my fiancé were brought to Ceasar’s initially by my daughter- soo impressed we brought close friends the very following Sunday. Our guests have been to Italy over twelve times and they both agreed the authentic Italian tastes were identical as they found in Italy! We will be bringing my brother and his wife very soon...we live in Metairie and the drive is just incidental to extremely fine Italian dining! John Castelluccio and Cindy CockeMore
