We have tried boiled crawfish all over this town, but after getting some here yesterday, we won’t go anywhere else. They undoubtedly have the best, seasoned, and delicious crawfish in Lake Charles! Our most recent visit to Mr. Bill’s was our first sample of crawfish for the season. The place was packed on a Friday evening but there was a very short wait to order at the counter. We ordered 10 pounds for $5.99/lb and a couple...of corn and potatoes from the friendly staff and we went to get our drinks. The crawfish were ready by the time we got our drinks. The crawfish were small to medium size and were perfectly boiled, easy to peel, and seasoned perfectly. While we ate our piles of mud bugs, we saw some familiar friendly faces that were also enjoying the seafood here. With large portions of delicious food, the friendly staff, and a casual atmosphere where you can kick back, drink a beer, and chat with friends, Mr. Bill’s Seafood Express is a great destination for a family meal.More
Everytime I swing through Lake Chuck I have to stop and get the stuffed baked potato. I like the chicken, and get it spicy. Soooo delicious! I am not sure this one is still open, but definitely the one right off I-10 is there. Everything...else I have tried there is good as well, but I just keep going back for that po-ta-toMore

Nothing fancy, come as you are. The fish and shrimp are perfect. Found this place by mistake, now we make a point to eat here.
I had shrimp (broiled) and a crab cake with sweet potato fries, and a bun. My associate had the fried catfish. The people working there were nice. It is a local place. Tables bench seats and paper towels. Order at the counter and set yourself...down, the will bring it to you. There was a group of locals chatting it up. They are strong supporters of the local college sport team, MSU (McNeese State University), the Cowboys. It was great food, prices were a little high but it was good. This place was our best trip to Lake Charles, LA! The restaurant was closed for our private event and I'm sure it had to be unnerving to see a bunch of sweaty bikers come streaming in. The staff kicked butt in getting all of us...served and were so friendly and helpful. The food was super fresh. My husband had a burger, I had fish and we got samples of jambalaya which made me wish I had ordered that as well. I can't say enough about their staff and how welcome they made us feel. I hope we changed your opinion of bikers! :)More

I stumbled upon this place after hearing about it from a coworker. WOW!!! What a meal is all I can say! I have now been back numerous times and have showed other friends and family and they were blown away as well with the awesome...taste of the food. The exterior of the place is a very bland painted tan color that shows no indication of it even being a restaurant except the small sign. It's just a come as you are kind of attire on the inside where you walk up to the counter and place your order then you have a seat and wait for the magic flavors to be delivered to your table. I have tried most of the items on the menu and have yet to have something bad.I love the grilled catfish. It is seasoned and almost blackened. The fried catfish is some of the best I have ever had & I am originally from Louisiana so I know good catfish. If you eat here, DEFINITELY TRY THE ONION RINGS!!! They are AMAZING!!! The real hand battered kind that are now almost extinct. My friends rave about the Shrimp Poboy being the best around as well. Try it all. It's great! They have excellent handmade burgers too with a variety of different cheese or toppings if you are not a seafood fan! Check it out!More
