This is the best authentic Cajun sit down lunch in town. Try the white beans side but beware they are addicting. The crawfish ettoufee is so good it will make you want to slap yo mama. Served over catfish is even better. There is no bad dish here. Too bad its only open for lunch

We visited our adopted grandchildren there after their move from the Cinco Ranch area in Houston, TX. Landry's offered us a large table with quiet surroundings where we could enjoy the opportunity to catch up on recent events. Activities for keeping 3 elementary-age kids occupied were excellent as well. The menu choices were all well explained and we had our... More

6 of us went to Landry's for their seafood buffet last night. What a wonderful place! I loved the onion rings and hushpuppies, and my husband loved the stuffed crab. Their bread pudding was delicious too. The salad bar was fresh too! Our waiter was cry attentive. They had a cajun band in the other room. You can choose to... More

It's cold and rainy outside, there is no heat inside the restaurant & they don't have coffee. But the waitress was friendly enough and the food was good. Hamburgers were juicy. Taco salad was piled with meat. Those who ordered onion rings kept talking about how crisp they were and not greasy. My broccoli and cheese stuffed baked potato was... More

In the area of Cameron st today and stopped by for a quick business lunch. I eat out for lunch 3-4 days a week and don't know how I missed this place. Service was super quick and friendly. I had the fried chicken with the trimmings. Felt like my grandmothers house. Delicious. I'm putting this place into our lunch rotation.... More

I've eaten at both locations and love the food. The location on Pinhook is closer to work so I go to this one most often. Good, comfort food and plenty of it. There's a large variety on the menu. The fried pork chop is delicious and the Mac and cheese is the best around. I also suggest the meatball stew,... More

This place is legendary ! The owners parents were two of the first restaurant owners in Lafayette in the 1930s. The menu includes family recipes and tastes like your grandmothers cooking. The best hamburgers, red beans, chicken stew, crawfish etoufee your gonna find. TRULY GREAT FOOD ! Casual atmosphere and good service. My staff and I eat here at least... More

I've been stopping by this Lafayette location at exit 115 on I-10 in Louisiana for 15 years and I always order the seafood gumbo. Sometimes when I'm in a hurry, I take it to go and literally drink it on the run. Oysters, shrimp, a thick rich dark roux over rice. They used to put okra in it, which I... More
