I went to Poupart Bakery to find baklava to take home to my daughter. I was very pleased with their selection. Decided to purchase the regular baklava rather than the orange blossom. It was delicious! I will definitely return the next time I'm in lafayette.

This little bakery has something for everyone. If I lived here I could try something new every day and never get the same thing twice. Small eat in area or you can get it to go.

This bakery is my must-go when I travel to South Louisiana. I have to pick up goodies for my kids and grandchildren. This time it was the Shoe Sole pastry with the flaky cinnamon goodness, Fig Crescents, Chocolate Croissants, and cookies. I could not leave without loaves of soft, fresh bread so I picked up Raisin Cinnamon bread and Cinnamon... More

This bakery has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Owned and established by the Pouparts from France, we have been blessed to have this in our lovely town of Lafayette. The pastries and cakes are works of art in my opinion. Our family always orders the doberge (dobash) cakes, half lemon, half chocolate... More

The cakes are moist, tasty and not overpowering with sugar. The icing was light and eatable with the cake. Excellent!

Poupart's is unique to the Acadiana area. They have some amazing delicacies. During Mardi Gras season they are the go to for king cake.

My friend and I had lunch here and really enjoyed the lunch. And they were giving out free samples of some of their pastries, so we had a double dessert! My favorite treat here is the fruit tarts. The Ciabatta bread is incredible also.

By far the best Cajun Bakery in the Lafayette area. Lots of unique sweat treats to chose from at a good price.

I was born in New Orleans and lived there most of my life. Poupart makes their chocolate eclares filled with chocolate.
