It a classic diner with new school flavor , i love the Reuben sandwich or the cheeseburger .you can get your root beer float or your local homebrew beer.

Great setting and fabulous service. Unfortunately the food lacked flavor. The fried mushrooms were large and difficult to enjoy as an appetizer. The soup was delicious, but cold and the fried fish (the daily special) was fishy tasting. All things considered, stick with shakes and curly fries. Stay and chat with a friend and soak up the ambiance.

I have been to this diner twice while visiting Lafayette. Both times I have had the Shrimp, green tomato salad. It is enough for a meal or if you split it with a dining partner, it is enough with a side order, last lime my daughter-in-law split it with a side of onion rings which were very well done, nice... They have a great milieu! 1950's vibe. The food is always good (as expected in Lafayette). The cosmic curly fries are very bad for me and thus, I adore them. They have good malts and shakes as well (but Borden's is better). Come here for breakfast and lunch.

Was there for Father's Day. Over priced and the service was horrible. Waitress was VERY inattentive to anyone sitting at the counter. Will not go there again. Too many other good places to eat in Lafayette.

Enjoyed the atmosphere, excellent food and service. Went to Hub City on a Saturday morning for breakfast and the place was packed with local. We decided that this must be the place, and it was. The food prepared with local fresh ingredients and served with loved. Hub City is located in a college community. We ordered what we thought was... More

Although I heard that the food was good. I was just not impressed at all. With so many restaurants here, I was saddened. The jr. burger was small but the patty was dry. The fries were hot and good with seasoning. There's just not much more that can be said. I was told by someone recently that I should go... More

We have been many times. It is our place to go to for comfort food. We've never been dissatisfied with food or service. Family friendly too!!!

We visit here anytime we are in town. The hamburger steak is especially yummy. We love the fried pickles. The kids menu has lots of choices for your children and the prices are even better. The only negative I can think off is the French fries. They have curly fries which are fun. But they are bland without much flavor.... More
