Always go during the International festival. Great food, appetizers and breakfast. Staff is friendly and drinks are great. Perfect location in Downtown Lafayette. Do miss the opportunity for great food.

This was a great place to try for breakfast...family friendly too. They have a small menu but it is all delicious. They were also willing to make things.

We went for breakfast on a weekday, and it was quiet until the brunch crowd began. The building that houses this marvelous restaurant was a printing company, and the restoration speaks to that theme. Walls are adorned with interesting art and artifacts of the printing business. Hospitality and service was outstanding. The food = Amazing. I'm still taking about the... More

My wife and I passed through Lafayette on the way to New Orleans for vacation ... To our surprise, some of the best ways to be had were actually in Lafayette, including this gem. ... This place was actually a recommend from someone who formerly lived in the area. In a downtown building, difficult to pick out if your not... More

My daughter and I ate brunch there today. I have eaten there as often as I can when I travel to Lafayette. I have always had a great meal and try something different every time.

Went to the restaurant on a Saturday at 11am. 7 people in party. Waited 50 minutes for table (no complaint with that). When seated, waitress took drink order & only brought some of the drinks. Had to ask 3 more times for rest of drinks. When orders place I had a specific request. This was not followed and when waitress... More

I really enjoyed the Cajun Benedict! A very cool twist on the traditional. A nice bar supplies some tasty beverages as well!

The French Press occupies a huge and stylish space which was formerly a printer's. We had a great lunch here and enjoyed the atmosphere and service as well as the food. The shrimp and avocado salad was fantastic. As the name suggests, they also have plunger coffee.

We'd be happy to go back to the French Press! The food is great, and the coffee is good. Biscuit sliders (Boudin balls, bacon, and Steen's syrup) with a Sid elf great cheese grits will give you "diet guilt" all day! Despite arriving relatively early on a Sunday morning, the service was "deliberate" but very friendly! Worth a visit!

A very unique, and somewhat quirky, place. Went for brunch. Started with truffle fries with garlic mayo dipping sauce. Very good. Then had the Cajun eggs Benedict. Two soft poached eggs, boudin, grits and covered in a rich dark roux gumbo! All the best of Cajun dishes in one bowl!
