I usually will try a Sports Bar’s Wings on the 1st visit and 90% of the time I am disappointed because they are served NOT Crispy. Gumbeaux’s is placed in the 10% of establishments that actually have a clue when preparing and serving Crispy and extremely temperature Hot tasty wings. I only will order dry rub if available... don’t like the messy wet wings and they have 3 dry options. We also had a couple of flat breads and they were also spectacular.

We were very pleased with our recent visit. The quantity of the portions were very generous. Had we known beforehand we could have easily split our plates. I got the After Effects burger. It was huge, piled high with meat, bacon, pepper jack cheese, buffalo straws, hash browns, and topped with a fried egg. Delicious! My wife got the Good Ol Gravy, which was sliced fried potatoes covered with beef tips, gravy, onion straws and cheese. Huge portion and very tasty!

I have to say thank you to our server Bryce!!! He turned a very bad beginning into an awesome fun dinner. He was so accommodating. We asked to move our table from the casino floor to inside where it was quiet and smoke free. His comment...sure you can sit wherever you want. He was there for anything we needed. If it wasn't for Bryce I would be leaving a 3 star because of our being seated.The supervisor came by to check on us. We explained how Bryce was so helpful.
The burgers were delicious!! They were huge more than enough for 1 person.
The gumbo omg it was absolutely some of the best gumbo I have ever had.
Thank you all for a great dinner and a great time!!!

Took forever to get our food and it was overpriced and not that good (overcooked - the hamburger patty was definitely Well done). The salad dressing had to be 2 years old. The restaurant was still set up for Covid and not that comfortable.
There was nobody eating at the sports bar and the other restaurant was setup like a cafeteria chow line.

We ordered the catfish with onion rings, a cup of gumbo and a salad. The fish and gumbo were ok. The rings were cold and soggy. There was a bug crawling in the salad. To their credit they comped the entire bill but I wouldn’t go back.

Saw the pictures of a gumbo full of seafood and other goodness. We each received a bowl of broth with nothing in it but the rice we dumped in. That being said the oysters were great. Service was substandard and this was a weeknight with few guests.

Has been remodeled to add more room. Dine in for good food while watching sports on tv’s all around and for you beer drinkers request the seats with the beer on tap at them.

This is always our first stop when at
Coushatta Resort.
Sweet and juicy Raw Oysters-on-the-Half Shell and big spicy Bloody Mary's. We also had the Seafood Gumbo. All very good. The oysters were plump and fresh. Gumbeaux's has undergone a remodel and has an updated menu, which looks very nice. A nice addition are the flavored Sugarland's Moonshine shots and drinks. Very tasty.

OK..I never leave bad reviews but I'm about to because this renovation ruined our trip to the casino.
We have always LOVED Gumbeaux's! It was one of the major reasons we liked going to Coushatta casino. It was a cool sports bar with a pub type feel, lots of tv's, a big U shaped bar, beers on tap, drink specials,...just a nice place to take a break from the slot machines. But all that changed after their "renovation" in August 2019. :(
No more cool vibe. No more large U shaped bar. The menu is so small now. They even did away with the cool appetizers! All of the beers on tap are gone. I didn't see any drink specials. It was down right boring. Let me repeat...NO beers on tap! A sports bar with no beers on tap..wth?! Who made these decisions???
If you go and look at they're pictures it will show the old bar not the new one. Just sayin'. Get ready for a let down.

Restaurant was closed for 2 months undergoing a total renovation. The oversized bar has been converted to a small intimate bar enhancing a more friendly family environments. Also the new lower tables in place of the bar stools is a welcomed change. The menu was an awesome change with a wider variety of options and all prepared with excellence.
