My golf group took a "road trip" to play Koasati Pines and we stayed at the hotel at the Coushatta Casino Resort. We had dinner as a big group (12 folks) at the Big Sky Steakhouse. We were all seated at a large table in...an almost separate room (we had reservations). My good friend and I ordered together on one ticket so we could easily split a bottle of wine. We shared a bottle of very nice (and reasonable) Joel Gott Cab. He ordered the Prime Rib and was very pleased. I ordered their 6-oz Filet, cooked medium-rare. It came with the vegetable of the day and I opted for the loaded Sky Baked Potato. It also came with a choice of salad and I chose the Caesar. All my food was great and reasonably priced.More

Julia was server, she was Miss Little Southern Belle! The polite courteous service, fresh delicious bread and whipped butter, house salad and crabcakes with rémoulade sauce were superb!

Steaks and Salmon were all good. Sides were large, but just too expensive for this setting and clients. Wait staff does not match pricing of menu.

Filet mignon ordered medium, came back medium rare. Took it back came back practically well done. Husband order ribeye medium rare, came back rare. Sides were excellent but for the price you would think they would cook an almost perfect steak. Meal was ruined. Very...disappointed as trip advisor had excellent reviews.More

Big sky is very good and is nice for a special occasion. It has been amazing everytime i have visited except once. I dont know if it was a different chef or a change in the menu but that one time that i didnt enjoy,...the food wasnt seasoned. I love the wine as well. The service is always good. It is pricey.More

Just getting home from a work weekend at the casino. 2 out of the 5 dishes ordered were good. Started with the bang shrimp and they were really tasty, the ribeyes had no flavor but tender, the filet was very good and cooked perfectly. I...topped my filet with lump crab meat which was good, but it would have been better had a butter garlic sauce been added to the lump crab meat. The seafood risotto was a HUGE miss. There was hardly any seafood and it was super salty. 2 people ordered this and both said the same exact thing. Neither of them could come close to finishing it. Our waitress was attentive but she was socratic and a bit sassy. That’s not the kinda service I want when I’m in a fine dining steak house. Was not super impressed this time around, however, I do come here once a year and will continue to dine here.More

about twice a year we eat at the Big Sky. Expensive but worth every penny. And for a treat if they have the Salmon you have to try it.

It really is just an OK steakhouse. Everything was very average. Steak was dry. Not any other choices for restaurants in Kinder. It’s OK if you don’t expect much. Wine selection very small but good prices. Service was great!
