while it was not bad I didn't see how this was any better (or worse) than an average neighborhood restaurant (which it is), the place is always packed so I guess I expected a little more, was very underwhelmed by the shrimp poboy

Going to or coming from New Orleans? 2 miles from the airport. Don't miss it. Briney oysters. The freshest seafood. One of my favorites for over 20 years.

Sometimes hole in the walls are pretty good. This one is ok. The blackened Amberjack was very good. The potatoes and corn was ok. I would recommend this if you were in Kenner. Not worth going out of your way though.

Reminds me of growing up down by the lakefront of New Orleans, when decor was an after thought, noise was just fine, but service was friendly and familiar and great seafood. A group of 5 ate there last night after picking up a friend from the airport. It's always a busy place and so we had never gone in before.... More

Since this is close to the airport, we decided to give it a try. Food was good and well prepared. I will have to go back again and try the seafood dishes. We had roast beef sandwiches. Very good flavor and no skimping on the roast beef.

We were leaving the airport and a friend suggested this restaurant. It's quite small but has a hometown feel to it as soon as you walk in. You can tell many locals patron there. They do have a full service bar (if you are in to that) My husband got the seafood platter (or their equivalent) he was happy with... More

My husband and I were in the city after the leaving the airport, so we decided to patronize a local spot. Wow, did we make a good decision. The jambalaya was almost perfect. I had been craving soft shell crabs, and these hit the spot!!! Service was also very prompt and courteous. We will eat here again...

I am a born and raised southerner from Mobile AL and I know a good seafood place when I've been in one. Sure there is a lot of fried food but that is the old school. They also have grilled and blackened choices but if you want crab claws, gator, calimari, frog legs, crawfish tails, shrimp, gumbo, soups, and fresh... More

One of my coworkers recommended Harbor Seafood when he heard I was headed to Kenner and boy was he right. No frills, just good food. So good that I made sure to stop in again before my flight.

Harbor Seafood is a fun place with a welcoming atmosphere! The seafood is well-seasoned and fairly priced. The restaurant offers a great place to sit at the bar, eat and socialize; or gather with the family. Good food! Great times!
