Normally we just call it the gas station since it's attached. The atmosphere is very casual and often times they are pretty busy. The prices are decent and usually the special of the day is less than $7. The down side is that the service is almost always slow, and it's not very clean in the seating area but the... More

Most travelers aren't familiar with truck-stop casinos. This would be a typical one BUT with a remarkable restaurant. Not fancy of course but real over stuffed shrimp po boys and hot gumbo. Genuinely friendly local Cajun folks and a brisk crowd made it enjoyable.

We were craving poboys, but the offerings on a Sunday were lacking. Decided to give this a shot and it was pretty good. We started off with fried jalapeños and they were HOT! Came out fresh with ranch and cheese sauce. The cheese sauce felt like canned nacho cheese, but we were okay with that. We both got the overstuffed... More

This is one of our favorite places to go for breakfast, and we have been going for years. My favorites are the omelette and grilled biscuits, but it's all very good! I don't know why, but we had never eaten lunch or dinner there until recently. I ordered the hamburger and it was delicious. My husband got the chicken fingers... More

Food is delicious, especially the shrimp po-boy - they give an enormous amount of shrimp - I eat the shrimp and leave the bread. Service is good and fast plus there's good shopping in the travel center connected to the resteraunt.

I had the half and half platter- fried catfish and shrimp... Typical for La. Salad was dumped from a bag. Tartar sauce was not white because it was seasoned with a Cajun seasoning that some will love, but was terrible for my acid reflux. My husband had the shrimp salad that he said was"OK"... My daughter had crawfish fettuccine which... More

It's our usual stop for fried pickles and shrimp po-boys on our way to New Orleans. The prices are reasonably and the staff is wonderful.

Had there supposed rib eye and shrimp, the steak was 1/4 inch thick and was well down when order med, waitress saw I was disappointed so reordered another and came back, rare and the cocktail sauce for the shrimp was thousand island dressing, terrible experience, even for a truck stop dinner, not recommended by the Stormchaser

Today my coworkers and I had lunch at this location. The staff was amazing and the waitress was quick and very nice. She also was very helpful with making suggestions. I ordered a chicken fried chicken, one coworker ordered a small shrimp poboy, and the other one ordered the red beans. Everything came out quickly and tasted great. The shrimp... More
