I got the ribs and sausage for lunch. The ribs were tough and didn't have a good smoked taste. The BBQ sauce made it better. The sausage is home made and is fairly good. The service is great, friendly staff. I'd stop again if I'm in the area but I wouldn't make a special trip.

This place combines the best BBQ with Mississippi/North & Central Louisiana seafood. The chicken, brisket, sausage and pork are all, without fail, amazing. There's even a burger, called the Big & Messy that combines good, grilled, fatty cow with brisket. (It starts with a pound of ground beef and goes from there.) The seafood is on par with the best... Drove about 15 minutes north from Zachary and found the best bbq in the area. Was dragging my tired kids with me, so we got our food to go, but we kinda perused the joint while we waited. The atmosphere was very casual and homey, with south LA trinkets on display here and there. Enjoyed the feel of the place.... More

The wife and I decided to continue our quest to find great BBQ in the Baton Rouge area. Roadside BBQ is a very short drive from Zachary. The restaurant sits up a hill, on the east side of Hwy 61, just north of the Port Hudson State Historic Site. (north of Zachary) The address on Tripadvisor (Main Street,Zachary) is not... More

This place is one of those places you can't forget. Easy to get to! I ordered the BBQ pulled pork. Best BBQ pulled pork I have ever had. To top that off the the buns they used were even better! Everything had the best flavor!!! I cannot wait to go again!!!!!!

Very Large Crawfish and All U can eat for less than 20 bucks. The BBQ ribs and Brisket are second to none also. Thursday Night was crawfish night, but the BBQ is going on every night. Sunday Buffet Rocks too.

This little restaurant has very limited hours, but if you can catch it open... try it! I enjoyed the sliced, smoked brisket on my first visit and loved it. Came back for the Sunday buffet and enjoyed all the variety that it offered. In particular, the bread pudding was awesome... and the squash casserole included sausage and shrimp! Very tasty... More

You gotta eat here!! This place is easy to spot as the name says "roadside". Ate here years ago and re-visited recently. Food is great as always.

The food was great. Staff was friendly. We got a sampler, with all the different meats. All of the food was very yummy.
