Dave's is a intimate seafood restaurant with great food and folksy servers. The gumbo is very good but what keeps me going back is the fried flounder. It is flaky, large and excellent.

Stopped by Dave's Cajun Kitchen just the other day for lunch. It sure appears that we once again have some really good cooks back in the kitchen. The Fried chicken lunch was spot-on and the onion rings were perfect. Totally enjoyed my meal. Thursday is Fried Chicken day, I'll be back!

This used to be a good place to go but it has gone downhill over the past couple of years. Last experience was the last time for me. My dearly beloved ordered the seafood stuffed potato, and it was literally nothing more than a baked potato, halved, with some steamed crab meat and shrimp on top. That's it. This isn't... More

If you are looking for delicious, home cooked, real Cajun food, then this is the place for you. It is a locally owned business that has been around for decades. I had the crab cakes on bun, while my husband enjoyed the white beans and rice with fried catfish. Everything was delicious, and the service was friendly. I believe both... More

An old established seafood restaurant. Building dated. Food is very good at reasonable prices. Only place serving lemon meringue pie.

The food here was bland.... Louisiana is known for adding tons of flavor with seasoning to their food... Dave's Cajun Kitchen could learn a thing or two from Big Al's or Griffins... or Cajun Critter's. The wait was pretty lengthy for fried food, and the fact that the place was not very busy. For the price, there are much better... More

They were slammed on a Friday night so we waited a long, long time for our food. If they would have had wine in stock or asked us if we would have liked a glass of red wine they magically found for the table next to us my rating might be higher. The fried pickles have a nice light coating... More

The Char-Broiled oysters were to die for! I ate more than I thought was possible. I was there with a tour group and we were served a buffet. The red beans and rice was typically Cajun and delicious. I didn't think either gumbo was particularly good. The shrimp and pasta dish was delicious. And roast beef, corn and mashed potatoes... More

My grandmother loves this place. I always get the shrimp po-boy. There's nothing special about it. I liked the salad I got here one time. The staff is friendly. The restaurant has charm to it. It's kind of small.
