La Carreta never misses, I had never been to this location. They did not disappoint. The Mango Margarita is amazing. I had the shredded chicken taco salad. The lettuce was cold and crisp, while the chicken in the bottom was warm. Makes for a fantastic salad. Service was there whenever we needed anything.

La Carreta is the best Mexican restaurant I have found. Their food is delicious and reasonably priced. The service is always good, too.

I have never had something that wasn't great. My fave is the taco salad. I substitute the chicken for ground beef, the guacamole is wonderful, salsa is bursting with flavor and not watery. The bowl has this light flaky flavor and always more than enough. The margaritas are awesome. The employees are always great.

Love there margaritas. Great music outside on weekend nights. Kid friendly. Right in heart of town but very easy parking.

My family and I visited here on a Friday evening, it was very busy, but that's just normal business on that particular day of the week. We were greeted and seated, drinks were brought promptly. I love the upbeat of the resturant, with the live music. I wanted a table on the Patio, but all the tables were taken, so... More

We were in town for a College Baseball game and found this delightful restaurant while looking for the baseball field and the local Catholic Church. From the moment we entered it was a wonderful experience. The wait staff were pleasant and helpful. when our waiter became tied up another came by to ask if he could take our order. The... More

We stopped here for a margarita. They have several frozen flavors or mixed. Margaritas were excellent and served with tortilla chips and salsa. Our waiter talked for a minute and we enjoyed his conversation and the beautiful outside area. Next time, we're coming for dinner for sure!

Hammond's famous Mexican restaurant!! Very very good, though we visit their sister restaurant, Adobe, more often.

A lively Mexican restaurant in downtown that offers outside dining and live music. Also a nice place to stroll after a hearty meal. Most important the flavor of the food. Authentic Mexican food in small town LA. Who would have thought? Good selection of tequilas and margaritas too.
