We stopped at the Red Maple Restaurant. We ordered a Red Maple hamburger. The meal was very filling and price was reasonable. We definitely will go back. The only problem is they close at 2:00 in the afternoon.

We came here for a rehearsal dinner of about 30 people. The room we were in was comfortable and had a fireplace and small dance floor. Our server, Kerry, was very attentive and pleasant. Things were ready on time and the food was excellent! The...beef melted in your mouth and the whipped cream for the bread pudding was superb. It was served buffet style and everything was hot. I would definitely recommend them for a group event.More

This restaurant has been around for as long as I can remember It was a big oil field hangout in the 80s and was one of the first restaurants to open after Katrina. We were happy to be able to get a meal out at...that time. The entrance is typical New Orleans where you enter through a courtyard and walk through an oyster bar before entering the main restaurant. The menu is typical for it's steak/creole listing and the food is sold if not outstanding. It was very easy to get a table on a Saturday night.More

Food was good but a bit speedy for what you get. I will go again if someone invites me. Had a good time there. Had drinks but was a bit on the sour side. It’s ok to visit and again I will go back if...someone invites me toMore

This restaurant is a must for your dining experience when visiting NOLA! For dinner it is not too busy so I have never had to wait for a table. My recommendation for food is the Red Fish Pontchartrain or the pecan crusted salmon. For if...you are not big on fish, my husband likes the maple burger which is HUGE! I promise if you eat here, you will not be disappointed with anything you choose!More

I have eaten here one 4 separate occasions. The restaurant is never busy, but that does not take away from the amazing food. The service is always good and the ambiance is great. I recommend the Redfish Pontchartrain or the Maple Burger.

We started with Happy Hour in the bar, then dinner in the restaurant. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We all ordered different meals and everyone was happy. The atmosphere is comfortable and not a rushed meal service.

This is an old favorite and was perfect for celebrating a special birthday. The dining room just makes you feel like you are in a special place. It is old, quaint and yet very elegant. We all sampled the lunch specials and were all delighted...with our choices which included the eggplant parmigiana, pecan catfish, meatloaf and brisket with vegetables. The crawfish corn bisque, gumbo and salads were also very good. We added hot bread pudding to top off a very enjoyable meal on a special day.More

5 of us went to dinner here after a fun day at the race track.....and were so happy with this restaurant! We had Crab Cakes, Filet Mignon, Salmon, Pork Chops, Salads, Veggies & Vino.....and ALL were outstanding! Our waiter was pleasant and got our order...correct, even with small changes! Really cool atmosphere, very nice & quaint. The Oyster Shucker greeting was a great vibe..... really enjoyed this place all around!! Can’t go wrong!More
