Gattuso's failed to honor their advertised prices; they added 'Gratuity' for an on-line order that I picked up myself, without a waitress or anyone involved; the seafood was soggy & tasted like it was store bought frozen seafood. On 04MAR20 I ordered three meals, the...seafood platter was one of them. They overcharged me by $4 for the seafood platter based on their online menu. The cashier refused to honor their advertised price. Without any notice, they added 20% to the bill as 'Gratuity' which is a sham/fraud. I ordered from home and drive there to pick up my order. No person was involved in my purchase and pickup other than the cashier. The 'gratuity' was just a surcharge to paid their payroll. My entire order was soggy like a wet dishrag. The taste & texture was like frozen seafood purchased from a Costco freezer. Gattuso's quality of policy, personnel, & food has gone down badly.More

back in the day when this place was new and much smaller every one busted their butt to make the dining/ drinking experience a good one. and it was. they added music.the place expanded a couple of times. became much more popular. became well established...-and consequently very profitable. understandably and deservedly so.now they don't try so much any more. I guess they feel they don't have to. they're just going through the motions and ringing up the checks.More

We came to see some friends play on the stage across the street at 5 o’clock. Much of the Fairhead already started picking up and missed out on our business. We enjoyed hey Surf and Turf salad with raspberry dressing and amber draft beer. Lacey...took our order and got it out fast.My wife and I ate every bite. I sat on the patio and enjoyed thoroughly enjoyed the artichoke and crab suit and grilled chicken breast with vegetables. This was my first visit, and I will be back. The portion size was perfect and the service was pleasant.

We went here because we had a groupon. We all thought the food was good and so was the service. We went for lunch; my husband had spagetti and meatballs. We liked it so much we ended up going back for a meatball poboy before...leaving town. We asked for it not to be assembled since we were eating it later. They were very accomadating- and it was very good later on.More

Gattuso's has been around for a long time and is a popular neighborhood restaurant in old Gretna. I have been there once for lunch and thought it was just fine. However, we gathered for dinner with my wife's family this past weekend and I was...sorely disappointed. I (and most others) found the food to be very bland and unimaginative. I had a "Dirty Bird" poboy (turkey and roast beef) and found it tasteless. Further, there was very little meat on the sandwich. Others had a variety of different dishes (grilled tuna, sandwiches, etc.), most of which proved equally disappointing. For such a popular place, we were all surprised and disappointed by the mediocre food.More
