love, love this place, keep returning, their food is a cut above other local Mexican restaurants! i always try something different, but have my favorites too! travel well across town to get to it, by passing other restaurants!
A nice place to visit with friends, the food is really good and the service is the best. Would recommend this place to anyone.
I'm 45 yrs. old and my family has been eating Maria's since I was a child. Maria's is a small family owned restaurant that offers great food AND great service. Mrs. Maria is in the restaurant most of the time and always makes a point to go around to the tables to see how everyone is doing and make sure... More
We had a hard time finding Maria's in Denham Springs. We had planned to use a Restaurant.com certificate good for $25 off a $50 purchase. The Manager at first said they did not honor Restaurant.com certificates, but once my husband explained the certificate said it NEVER EXPIRES, the Manager agreed to honor it. The food was good - not 5... More
We were seated promptly. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The cuisine was authentic Mexican food. The taco's and enchilada's were excellent. Another patron heard us discussing the menu and told us we could not go wrong with any menu item. He was right. If you like good Mexican food, Maria's is a must visit if in the area.
Service was very good, very nice girls. food was so amazing, cheese dip was good, salsa is tasty! the rice was amazing! My quesadilla wasn't what i was used to..a little to cheesy for me, but everything else was delicious. We took a friend who was visiting from out of town. She loved it too! our new favorite place close... More
I actually know and have met Maria who started this restaurant many years ago, nice lady. The restaurant offers what you expect in Mexican food. I would not say it exceeds expectations but for the price its pretty good. Not my favorite Mexican but its ok and a good value.
Nice atmosphere and good service, but the food is right off the institutional food truck, you would do just a well to go to Taco Bell. Needs non-smoking section also.
Place has been around for a while and recently renovated. Looks nice. Friendly people. Food is average - nothing special, but I would go there again.
