Great place to bring out of town guests. Alligator, boudin, and shrimp are all outstanding. If you go -- you really need to try the duck & sausage gumbo. Scores of good beer on tap. Sit outside when the weather is good.

This restaurant is very nice to chat in, and the atmosphere is acceptable. Food is good. I had a nice time catching up with my family. It is a very good option instead of going somewhere like chilis. Btw they also sell a lot of different alcohol beverages, but that's as far as my knowledge extends to that....now give me... More

Went on a Saturday night and had a 45 minute wait since the place was packed, but they were accurate about the length of wait time when we gave our name. We used that time to stroll in the back walkway towards the river and saw a cat, goats, a rooster, fish, turtles, and some even saw a raccoon. The... More

Great location. If you have a long wait spend some time on the boardwalk down to the river. Food was good, with plenty of variety, great selection of draft beers. Next time we are in town will go back.

The people at Abita Brewery suggested we stop by this restaurant and it was a good suggestion. We only had appetizers since we had just had lunch, but they were very good. The bar selection and service was also very good. We especially enjoyed sitting outdoors on the large decks overlooking the swamp. Some of us walked the trail and... More

This wonderful place has a discreet entrance, an incredible variety of beers, and excellent food. Good dining whether at the bar, main dining or out side.

Ok, so I dont eat spinach but this is the exception! Everytime and without fail, the spinach and artichoke dip is cheesy gooey lovliness! They serve it with spicy bowtie pasta which is a perfect dipping tool! Next, their salads! The SAlmon is perfect everytime and get their house Pepper Jelly salad dressing. You wont be sorry. Lastly, their porkchops... More

We met friends Thursday evening for drinks and appetizers. We asked to be seated on the deck even though it was rather warm but the ceiling fans that made it comfortable. Our waitress was very helpful in making suggestions and allowed us to take out time ordering. The onion rings are some of the best I have had is quite... More

The service was fine but the seafood was overcooked and dry and the child's plate was too spicy and dried out to eat.

The Chimes is our go to place on the Northshore. Wonderful beer and bourbon selection and great food. We have never had a bad meal here, and the take-out service is well run and efficient. When we dine in, we love the deck. We love watching the goats graze or catching our favorite sports team play on one of the... More
