Went with family with 2 young kids. Staff are great and very attentive. The adults food is fantastic; I had pie of the day which was pork sage and apple with mash. Very seasonal and delicious. The one downside was my kids ate of the children's menu, they had fish fingers n chips expecting in a restaurant like this they... More

Arrived here to find the car park totally full so we were impressed it seemed this popular on a Tuesday night but nearly turned around to find somewhere else. We decided we would have a look. Motto: don't be put off by a full car park! There was plenty of room inside and we sat at a lovely cosy table... More

We were taken out to lunch here today... We had called in before for a drink after a walk and always liked it. It is our generous friends local pub. The table for the ten of us was beautifully laid and our designated was most attentive and informative with his comments and recommendations. It was some time before we all... More

This is the third time we have eaten at the Rockingham Arms and have never been disappointed however busy they are. The service and quality of food is consistently good and the pub has a lovely atmosphere. Tonight my husband was taken ill at the end of our meal and the staff and other customers couldn't have been kinder, providing... More

The Rockingham Arms is situated down a quiet country lane yet is easily accessible from the M27. You can eat in the garden, the bar or the restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff who continued to serve us with a smile. There is an extensive a la carte menu plus a fixed price... More

We visited here on the hottest day of the year and were so please we picked this pub! Staff were friendly, food was nice and the design and decoration of the whole pub was so well thought-out and artistic. We met the owner in the lovely little shop at the back (which you must visit if you have time!) and... More

Had a lovely lunch with hubbie, and toddler in tow. Sat in the garden in the sunshine and marvelled at the beautiful unspoilt countryside all around - it has a lovely setting. Food was very good: sandwich with fries on very fresh homemade bread, burger in a brioche with fries was also apparently very tasty. They also have more than... More

Liz has come from her previous excellent pub near Lyndhurst and again transformed this pub in to a great place to meet, have a drink and eat some great gastro pub food. Had the best ham egg & chips the other day and will certainly bring friends over here again very soon.

We live locally and have experienced several of the previous transformations of this pub which always left the special something lacking. Liz and her team have now provided this extra which makes a pub feel warm and cozy but also stylish and comfortable. The decor is welcoming and superb the pub spotlessly clean, with the new shop a serious temptation... More
