I am from Wisconsin so I have never had good authentic cajun food. So my husband and my brother and sister in law took my out for dinner here. This place deserves 5 stars and then some because they allowed me to try the crawfish...before I ordered my meal and got stuck with something I absolutely hated. Most places I have been too don't allow you samples before you order any food so that was awesome customer service from our server. My sister in law got the Fezzo Oster sampler and her favorite was the spinach dip one. Brother in law ordered the red snapper which I tried and I was well seasoned and so tasty not fishy. It was grilled and topped with popcorn shrimp onions, and mushrooms. Husband ordered phili's favorite which came with deep fried shrimp, oysters, crawfish, crab cake, crab cake stuffed shrimp, alligator and seafood etoufee and dinner rolls with loaded potatoes. Then I ordered the Crawfish Festival it came with crawfish etoufee, fried crawfish, crawfish pistolette and added corn crab bisque and also had loaded potatoes as my side and dinner roll. It was all good I ate it all except I couldn't finish the corn crab bisque but I got that too go. They also ordered fried alligator bites as a appetizer even though I tried them I wasn't a fan it just wasn't for me. Also I had a Blueberry Lemon Drop that was so good and I also got a Louisiana Blueberry Lemonade both alcohol drinks were really good. The server was friendly and energetic and it was nice to have a server that was happy and enjoyed her job. Made our experience that much better having amazing service. I also told the server in the beginning it was my brother in laws birthday that day and once we were all done she brought us out a piece of there bread pudding on the house for his birthday with 4 spoons for us too share. We also picked up a tray of bread pudding too for Thanksgiving as well. Before we left we bought two bottles of the spicy sauce at the table, 1 container of the seasoning also at the table, Worcestershier sauce, and a cajun book they have a small section that they sell sauces and seasonings. Just go to the bar if you are buying what's at the tables it's not up front. I really enjoyed my first time here the staff was friendly, helpful, energetic, knew the menu which is always a bonus, and go above and beyond with their customer service. I would so go back to this restaurant it is so worth it for first time customers like me, or families that I seen there with little kids, or repeat customers like my brother in law and his wife and their family. The price isn't cheap but worth every penny for the quality of food that you get. Trust me you will leave full and happy. If your drinking you will be extra happy with the drinks.More
