This café doesn't even deserve one ring, everything was awful; disgusting food, rude staff... We were visiting the place during lunch, four adults, six kids and one baby. The ceasar salad had no dressing, the wedge salad had no salad but too much dressing (wedge was out so we only had baby spinach), Fries were soft, awful kids meal. Do... More

We were able to walk in and get seated right away on a Friday evening. The crawfish & alligator cheesecake is a must have appetizer. I had the crawfish half & half and it was very good as well. Everyone in our party was very pleased with the food.

Stopped in for some lunch while driving along the 10. Was met with the best creole food I have ever tasted. Highly recommend the crawfish etouffee with the grilled shrimp. Delicious sauces!

Arrive early for breakfast because there will be a line. We met friends a Saturday breakfast and although there was a wait we enjoyed the visit. The couche couche is yummy. It's a simple dish and if you have ever eaten cornbread and milk I recommend this dish. The zydeco omelet is also a good choice. We haven't made it... More

As I travel cross country I always make a point of stopping here even if I have to go out of my way. One of my favorite restaurants in the US. It is unique and REAL Cajun. Love love love the Sunday brunches!! The desserts are definately worth the extra calories...especially the Gateau Sirop...however I could be talked into the... More

A French influence style restaurant though has a number of local specialities. You park outside and generally don't need to book unless they have a live band. We had alligator cheesecake as a starter which was good and the various entries were excellent. Portion sizes were sensible by European standards. The service was really good and restaurant is good value... More

We stayed at the Cajun Palms RV Campground and one of the campers told us about the Zydeco Breakfast on Saturday mornings. What he described was wonderful, so we had to give it a go. We were told to be there by 7 am to get a seat, so we woke the kids up and were in line by 715... More

On Saturday mornings the Café Des Amis in Breaux Bridge has a live Zydeco band and dancing with scads of fun people who really know how to dance to Zydeco music and will dance with you if you ask. They serve a Cajun breakfast that was scrumptious, prices are very reasonable, and service is excellent. It's loud and fun and... More
