stopped by right before she was going to close the dining area (carry out is open later). Glenda made us come in and offered us some simply amazing cuisine. I had the creole meatballs over rice and was taken with the seasonings and portion. My wife had the homemade sausage which was to die for. Menu changes daily but if... More

We loved the food in this tiny shack. Lunch only. They have a drive thru as well. It was not crowded and most there were locals who were very friendly. Large portions of hearty comfort food. We'll get back there before we leave town.

Glenda's Creole Kitchen is not world renowned for nothing! She and her family are the most gracious people you will ever meet, and her food is just as lovely as she is. Every item on the menu is delicious! Don't forget to finish off your meal with one of her amazing Butter Pecan cake slices! Yummy

I have been patronizing this business since the very beginning. Ms. Glenda and her daughter Kayla have always made me feel at home. The food is delicious and the baked goods after each meal just completes the circle. If ever in Breaux Bridge, LA tell them Jonee' sent you!

Can't go wrong with any of the daily specials. Turkey is my favorite. Settle down and enjoy good food and good conversation with Glenda.

We stopped by around 1:45 on a Tuesday, near the end of lunch service, so a few menu items were gone, but we loved what we had: a heaping plateful of smothered sausage with okra and chicken, and an equally heaping platter of smothered chicken. The sauce is dark, spicy, and delicious, based on a chocolate-colored roux, and Tuesday's lunch... More

My wife and two daughters landed in New Orleans from Washington Dulles with a goal of meeting Glenda and my wife's dream of giving her some earrings and a shirt after tasting the food. We had seen both G Garvin and others rave about the food. We knew she closed at 2 and called. She graciously let us come in... More

we arrived at 12:50 and were informed that all that was left was pork chops and 1 order of turkey legs. I decided to take the turkey and wife had the pork chops. I asked why they were out of everything and was told that they were getting ready to close and don't like to have unsold food as it... More
