I can get a much better Cajun food from a fast food restaurant. The food I ordered was greasy, over fried, no taste of Cajun. Not anyone walk in the restaurant can be a Cajun food chef. Do not spoil your trip by a lousy food.

Our family of 3 dined at this place while traveling along I10. We chose this restaurant based on the good reviews on TA. It turned out to be a huge disappointment. We ordered seafood platters and blue crabs. The food was badly prepared. The seafood gumbo was watery dotted with few shrimp. This had to be the worst gumbo soup... More

You know when you pull up to the place & parking lot is full at 2:00 it's got to be good & it was!!! We ordered the 5# Boiled Crawfish platter which was amazing & the Jimmy Davis Cheeseburger & onion petals, burger made with a homemade sourdough bun. Oh my goodness!!! The owner came over & visited with us personally... More

We had dinner twice here on our road trip from Houston to Florida. The food, staff & restaurant are great. They also have their own spices, liquor and southern products to buy. Decor is lovely, a bit noisy but not too much to be annoying.

It seemed that their credit card reader was not very reliable, because on my 1st visit, my card was refused (my wife's card, on the same account was OK) but a few days later, on our 2nd visit there, I didn't had that problem anymore. Despite this little "snag", the food was excellent, the decor was funny and the service... More

We have eaten here a few times in the past several months and it has been good every time. It is a funky little place with creative decor. You can sit inside or out. The fried catfish is really good. I have gotten it a few times. The boiled shrimp and crawfish are great too. Our grandkid had fried chicken... More

Stopped by for Sunday lunch over the holiday weekend and, once again, had a great meal. The boiled crawfish were just spicy enough, great flavor, but not "knock your socks off" and gulp water spicy. I think they could have added more than 1 piece of corn and three tiny potatoes, but it was enough. Service was quick, server was... More

We brought a friend here who was from out of state as her first introduction to Cajun cuisine. The appetizer which was fried crawfish, shrimp, alligator and catfish was great . We were disappointed, however, that the crawfish etouffee hardly had any crawfish in it and the color of the sauce and the small amount wasn't close to what we... More

My review would be similar to those others listed regarding very slow service. However the staff seem very friendly and helpful and were a bit embarrassed about the delays. Perhaps there was a few bad days in the kitchen ? The decor is quirky and the place was full of locals which you think would be a good sign. Perhaps... More
