I've eaten here for years. I stopped in today and got a 1/2 pound a-la-cart catfish. It was good. It's definitely farm-raised fish and local. There is no "fishy" taste that can ruin your meal. The prices are reasonable.

I like the fried catfish filet the best. I have only had hot, and crispy ones. All of the add on have also been good. some of the best and plentiful onion rings are to die for. LOL I have also enjoyed the country style chicken fried steak. It is a large fill the plate steak, add your choice of... More

About the best comment about this restaurant was a decent salad bar that comes with meals. Given "Catfish" in the name and the location we expected some really great fried fish. Not the case and several in my party of five found the fish filets to be more like McD's chicken strips. We had better at a fast food road... More

With a name like "Catfish King" one would expect some darn god cat fish. Well, my wife and I decided to try ti out for lunch one afternoon. It was buffet style, very underwhelming choices. The food itself was average. Overall I was disappointed with the fish and the price. I thought it was a tad on the expensive side... More

Although we were told they served bland food, we found otherwise. We ordered the senior meal (chicken fried steak) and had the salad bar. Our order came to just under $14 for the two of us. A good value for what we considered tasty food. We left completely (and overly) satisfied.

I did Catfish King on Village Ln as a take-out. I was not sure what size I wanted, senior-3 fillets, regular - 5 fillets or a seafood platter with four of each, fillets, oysters, shrimp and a crab cake. I decided on the seafood platter. I was given the option of baked potato or fries, baked potato, naturally. I have... More

Never been before and probably won't return due to a very long wait for the catfish while trying to make the best of a sub-standard salad bar. When the fish arrived the pieces were very small and overcooked.

The catfish of the past was very good, but lately the taste and quality has declined, as has the service. It used to be a good place to go for a quick, casual, tasty meal is not that anymore. I won't return.

They have the best catfish dinners in town. The meals are huge and very affordable for one and all. The Senior meals are very filling and you usually have enough left over for a meal to go especially with the regular menu items. They have a very fresh salad bar and an ice cream bar also. Don't forget to check... More

This restaurant was across the street from our hotel, so we gave it a try. I had the onion rings and gumbo. Both were very good at a great price. Others in our party ate off the senior menu and were also pleased with the food and the price. We would go back.
