I love Southfield Grill because my husband can get breakfast any time of day. I enjoy the daily lunch specials, especially the vegetable side dishes. My only complaint is that the mashed potatoes are instant. Everything else is high quality.

My husband and I eat here almost weekly. Sometimes more than once a week. It's good and quick - if you order a daily special at least. I've never had anything bad. They can cook some mean black eyed peas and okra & tomatoes! My one complaint...and I only say this because maybe someone will see it and address. The... More

Honestly, not a bad breakfast. Scrambled eggs and biscuits were fine - hash browns were really more like 'home fries' but were good. Wife's pancakes likewise no complaints. Coffee good. My issue w/ the place were some of the details. The condiments (sugar, salt, pepper glass containers etc...) all were full of handprints and had not been wiped down that... More

First, I have never been to a place that claims home cooking and then turned around and dug my roll out of a store bought bag of rolls. The food was not bad by any means, but nothing outstanding either. Mac n Cheese was not real cheesy or flavorful. Chicken fried steak was decent but small. The fried chicken was... More

I understand that people are always going to run their mouths, but after I get through spending my money at a restaurant for me and my wife to eat what I don't expect is to hear two of the cooks outside smoking cigarettes make racial fat comments about me and my wife as we are getting into my truck. We... More

When home cooking is what you need to satisfy you taste buds, this is where you need to go. The food is just like mom's, only you gotta pay for it. The good news is, the price is reasonable. I eat here at least twice a week and order off the daily specials. I've NEVER had anything bad and I've... More

Mommas home coming not far from home. Always fresh. Breakfast anytime too. The pancakes are amazing and as big as the large plate. Homemade style burgers with home style fries. Wonderful pies. Gotta go!!!!

We went to breakfast after our church service with a couple friends. We will not be returning. The waitress we had seemed to be bothered by our mere presence. She got ever order wrong. She didn't even split the tickets. She said it was too difficult to keep three couples straight. The food was very reasonably priced. It was just... More
