Ordered the shrimp pho...the pho has a very awkward taste and they dont make it spicy upon request just add more jalapenos and a sriracha/horseradish sauce to mix in it...the shrimp were big but they left the tails on and put them in the pho...already...almost choked on the first one had to dig the rest out and cut off the tails...overall they give you a lot of ingredients but the pho does not taste the same as it should has a very odd taste and smell....and for 13 dollars way overpriced I will not order pho from them againMore

Food is decent but Restaurant is dirty. Could use a good cleaning badly. Enjoyed fried seafood. Side portions are smaller.

Visited this new restaurant last week with our family to primarily eat fresh boiled crawfish. The price was very competitive with other local restaurants and you only had to buy a minimum of 2 pounds where some other restaurants require customers to purchase a minimum...of 3 pounds. The corn and red potatoes were sold separately and were good. The crawfish were spiced about right and most were a good size. The staff was polite and friendly. My wife had the crawfish po boy and said it was very good.More

We are certainly no expert in Cajun food or seafood in general being from Fort Worth, but we really enjoyed our lunch here. My gumbo and Boudin balls were delicious, and my wife and kids loved their fish and shrimp platters. Just a few minutes...off I-20, and well worth the stop.More

This place was busy. Folks came in at 2 in the afternoon for crawfish buckets. I had the crawfish po boy. It was 8 inches filled with crawfish and fix’ins and it was great. The gumbo was tasty as well. Lots of locals reaffirmed this...as the real deal.More

This little hole in the wall does crawfish right. We enjoyed the food so much here. Brought a friend to taste crawfish for the first time and she was born away so much flavor for a small place.

We were visiting the Shreveport area for 4 days visiting family, and our son took us here, as the wife wanted some crawfish. Unfortunately, they had none until after Thanksgiving (it was early November). We order a Roast Beef and a Shrimp PoBoy instead. These...were just not good, were on a regular sub roll, not crust french bread, and the filling was just ok. Son's gumbo was good though.More

My husband and I love a good seafood Poboy and KIM'S is one of the few places in this area where you, once upon a time, could get the real deal. I say this because those 'in the know' understand the secret to a real...Poboy starts with REAL New Orleans style french bread... it's different from other french bread....it is crusty, not hard on the outside and light and airy on the inside. The owners of KIM's moved here from NO and understand that the bread is critical and still adhear to using the right french bread BUT have lost their focus on the two other essential Poboy ingredients ...a great, if not, homemade mayonnaise and great quality seafood. We ordered a soft shell crab and a shrimp Poboy, each come with a side and a drink. The sandwiches were generously sized, 'dressed appropriately with lettuce, tomato, pickle, mayo and a light touch of ketchup. The mayo was not what Kim's of years ago used; its' taste overpowered the seafood and was quite 'oily'...it needs attention regardless of it being store bought or homemade. The softshell crab was nice size but bitter as if the 'deadman' (non edible insides) had not been cleaned. The shrimp, much to my disappointment, we're popcorn shrimp....that's a big No!No! as these small shrimp have neither the true texture nor flavor of traditional shrimp, plus they do not hold the breading batter and therefore taste and are greasy. Both Poboys were big disappointments!!!!!l pop The saving grace of this experience was our 'To Go' order of combination fried rice....crawfish, chicken and shrimp...a generous portion, good even reheated that evening for dinner. All in all, KIM's has fallen victim to cutting cost at the expense of giving patrons a great southern Poboy. So, for something better tasting, more traditional and a better bang for the buck you might check the old stand by places over in Shreveport.More

Fresh PoBoys, yep NewOrleans style. There is so much on the menu, you will always find something good. I like the fresh shrimp PoBoys, and they are not skimpy on the shrimp. I have had the crawfish during season and can’t go wrong . The...service is very fast for take out.More

It is in a nondescript strip mall and is very easy to miss. Good fried seafood and steamed crawfish! Busy place. Great service.
