Food was prepared fresh. The "heat" of the food was exactly as ordered. Service was great. Everything we tried was very good. We will be going back to try other dishes on their menu. Might even try something off the Vegan menu.

Very very very spicy Biriyani. You just can’t eat it period. Rice was not cooked and the meat has no flavor but I have to say they gave a pistachio pudding for free which was really good. I loved it!
Having lived in Houston the last two years, there was great international food available. So when I saw Curry & Kabob, I thought I would give it a try. The owner greeted me and, based upon what I said I liked, recommended the Beef Nehari....I also ordered some very fragrant and fluffy rice as a side.($20). I will definitely be back when on that side of town. The beef was amazingly tender, the sauce was rich and full of flavors - medium was the right amount of spice for me as well. PS Don’t let the location scare you. It could use a paint job ...More
Excellent service and food. Told them to pick for us since we were new to Pakistani cuisine, and we loved everything!
My youngest swore I'd like this place and the food. He spoke particularly highly of the owner/maitre'd. He was right on all counts. Seating for six for a Christmas Eve lunch was no problem. Every serving dish for the family style meal was empty when...we left, despite our concern that we ordered too many items. As we left, the owner confided to my youngest that he was negotiating a lease for a larger space closer to the city center. That's a good thing, but it's worth the drive if the lease falls through.More
Nep Sophourn was our hostess and helped explain some of the dishes we were interested in.The chicken sorbet with rice was wonderful!. I had Dal Sultani and fresh garlic nahn which was so tastey and fresh I enjoyed every bite and wish I had time...to come back again. The next time I visit Siem Reap Curry n Kabobs will be my first stop after checking into my room.More
Wonderful hospitality. Delicious and plentiful dishes at reasonable prices. Very flavorful. We would recommend mild heat to taste complexity. Naan fantastic. We will be back!
The samosas are amazing, lamb boti and sekh kebabs very good. The chicken was off though. It clearly had been rewarmed from some point in the last 24hrs, not marinated and grilled fresh. That theme carried into the chicken tikka masala. Know how that rewarmed...baked potato tastes and you can spot it? Same principle, I know what left overs taste like. The sauce on tikka masala and vegetable korma similar not distinctive. Good Indian food, not great, the chicken wrecked the meal. Will go back to paying a little more money to that other Indian restaurant in the vicinity.More
The food is made with hands that care more for taste than profit. The sauces are full of flavor. My favorite is the korma which tastes similar to what I found while traveling in London. The restaurant is small with a cozy atmosphere. The goal...seeming to impress with the food and service (which is great), not some high brow attitude.More
Four of us enjoyed the flavors at Curry n kebab. We shared 4 entrees, as well as naan and rice. Our favorite entree was the chicken tiki Marsala, but we also enjoyed butter chicken, a lamb dish, and the chickpea vegetable dish. Our only disappointment...was that the dishes, while delicious, were mostly sauce and not really enough chicken. There was so much sauce that we brought lots of leftover sauce home to add some more chicken to them.More
I've been a customer for the past 4 years. Curry N Kabab has been consistently good over the years and my last visit did not disappoint. They deliver hot fresh delicious flavours with exceptional service.
It was a quiet Sunday night, and we got full attention from the owner. He was most personable. The food is all prepared there. They were out of one lamb dish (clearly a popular one) because of an earlier unexpected rush after the Baton Rouge...Marathon. The restaurant is a locally owned business, which is what I like to support. I will be back.More
The food is so good! The owner/waiter is so friendly and knowledgeable about all the dishes. Easy to get to, good location and best of all prices are reasonable. Best in Baton Rouge!
This restaurant is meticulously clean and the owner's insistence on making all of the food, fresh from scratch every day, shows in the quality and consistency of their dishes. If you're vegetarian, vegan, or health-conscious, you will find many options here, but they also offer...sumptuous meat-laden fare. My favorites are the Butter Chicken, the veggie Samosas, and Chicken Korma. And their Tomato Soup is to die for! And I don't even LIKE tomato soup!!! Seriously wonderful, authentic, Indian-Middle Eastern food.More
My family has been twice and both times the food was great. They prepare everything fresh, so it takes a little longer. At the end of our first visit, the owner explained to us how we can text our order in ahead of time so...our food will be ready when we arrive. That worked out great on our second visit. It is a family run restaurant and they take hospitality very seriously. They are very accommodating on special requests if you have any special dietary restrictions.More
