I ate here all the time when I was working downtown. The food is top-notch. They have a ton of choices, too, though I usually just get the chicken schwarma, because it's so good.

good food and very fast service. I have always recieved enough food to take home the left overs for another meal. Good mix of Lebanese and Greek food. The staff is friendly and make you feel welcome.
If you crave Lebanese this place should give you an “ok” fix. Just don’t go too late they close at 8pm on weekdays. Good menu with options and a few wine selections. Food was brought out at the speed of light. Little did I know...they were trying to get ready to close in an hour? Hummus was delicious but pita was not even warm. I got the combo plate which is the gyro meat and chicken with rice and hummus. The gyro meat was tasty but a bit dry. Chicken had good flavor but was definitely dry. Rice was good and I took home the hummus. Unfortunately the waitress ask me to close out my bill so she could go home so I didn’t get desert. Did I mention they close at 8pm on Tuesdays. So for a safe bet go here but for great food keep searching.More
I love eating at Serops. You can always count on the food being good because they maintain the quality.
Popped in for a quick dinner and was not disappointed with Serops. I had the stuffed grape leaves which were delicious. A subtle little tangy flavor when you first bite in to them which I loved. I then had the chicken shawarma salad. It was...spot on. Some pitas and Grecian sauce rounded everything out. Excellent meal. I’ll definitely be back soon.More
We needed a late lunch / early dinner on our way to an LSU baseball game yesterday and had not been back here for about a year. For our family of 4 we had: - a lamb Kabob plate, - a Vegetarian plate (with 4...choices I can't spell, but two had eggplant in them), - a chicken Shawerma plate, - and a Gyros plate, - and naturally I had a couple Almaza lebanese beers, our kids had Lebanese Iced Teas. All the food was very good as was the service.More
Driving up to Serops I got a "Mall Restaurant" vibe. The restaurant itself is fairly industrial, with some middle eastern accents. Menu is standard fare. The table ordered Fried Halloumi, Chicken Scharwarma, Kafta Kabob, Chicken Athenia. The Halloumi was to die for (if you like...garlic.) All of the plates came with a bland hummus, and an equally bland rice pilaf. The pilaf really tasted like rice with peas. The Scharwarma was very dry as it was the outer layer of the rotisserie, and I must have been the firs to order on a Sunday afternoon. The Kafta Kabob was tasty, but a little over spiced for my daughter. Chicken Athenia was nothing to offend anyone. Very average. Think next time I will try the vegetarian plate.More
Went there yesterday with out of state friends. Two had the chicken sharwarma with humans and rice and I had flounder with crawfish , shrimp and asked for the creamy dill sauce rather than just cream sauce. The ethnic Lebanese Food is always good, but...it is worth trying the fish specials as well. Mine came with rice and green beans. The blend of flavors on the fish was delicious. They never seem busy for dinner and I think they survive on the lunch crowd so if you want a good meal in a casual place this is worth a try. RecommendedMore
After volunteering all morning at the Special olympics bowling on Airline Highway, my son and I skipped up Old Hammond Highway to the Serop's Cafe on Corporate Blvd. for a nice lunch before driving back to Mandeville. We had a Falafel appetizer, a Gyro plate,...a vegetarian plate (with Baba Ganoush, Mousaka, Spinach pie, and Taboule (sp?)), and a to-go Swarma Chicken and Gyro plate for my wife and daughter. Of course my son and I brought a lot of our lunches home in to-go boxes too. The food was all very good and Francois did a nice job serving us. Being just noon on Sunday it wasn't very busy yet so very peaceful inside.More
We were seated quickly. Ordered the Lebanese Tea. Pretty good. Ordered the combination plate. The gyro was good but chicken was a little dry which is common in Greek and Lebanese in Baton Rouge. Atmosphere was good. Plenty of families.
