I stopped in here today for lunch. I was super excited to find a gyro place. I decided on the #15 combo box. It includes a mix of gyro, chicken shawerma, and comes with fries. I will say the portions are very large. I personally...didn't care for the cucumber sauce, but I realize that's a preference thing. The gyro meat was terrific! The chicken shawerma looked fantastic, but it was very dry, not sure if it's always that way, but I was disappointed because it looked so good. I might try this place if I'm in the area, it has some pretty good things going and they are speedy.More

Bad part about it, they are only open for lunch during the week. You are in and out in five minutes. It's very hard to find a place to park. We love the personal service and the good food. After a few times, they know...you by name.More

I go here usually once a week. Great food, quick and you get a lot for your money. Usually you can find a parking spot nearby on the street. Closes at 2:00.

I have been to Serop's on more than one occasion, and they were closed before their stated closing time. I arrived to the Coursey Blvd location at 6:58 p.m. on Saturday night, and the lights were off and they were closed. The closing time on...the door clearly stated they close at 8 p.m. The second incident happened downtown. They were closed at 1:20 when the sign clearly stated 2 pm. This is not a good way to run a business. I was very upset. Serop's does have good food, but I will no longer be a customer of Serop's if they continue to operate like this.More

It is a mixture of prepared middle eastern food with some cajun food thrown in for good measure. I enjoyed having stewed okra with my gyro's. All the food was good except I didn't care for their hummus.

Had carry-out lunch many times here -- the spinach & cheese pies are great, but I never had anything here that was under par. Nice blend of meats & fresh veggies, foods had a bit of "zip" to them but it is Baton Rouge/New Orleans...after all -- I felt good value, and accepted all major cards.More

Spinach pie is heavy on the pastry shell and light on the spinach; it was flaky on the outside, but the inside was soggy. The Baba Ghanoush [sp] was too strong with garlic, and too finely minced, but to be fair, it may be just...like everyone in South Louisiana likes things. All their food is too spicy for me. I tried the cabbage, but it was not what i expected either. The Chicken Schwarma was not seasoned enough (funnily enough). Not enough allspice marinade for my taste; but, this seemed to be a very big seller, all my colleagues who live and work near here had the chicken schwarma. so, it is probably just right for the area, too. Just not right for me.More

Everything I taste each time I visit is wonderful. They have Gyros, and chicken sides or sandwiches, stuffed green peppers, Mujadrah, baked eggplant, and about 30 other sides, All are delicious and are generous sized portions. It is served cafeteria style, and you can be...in and out in minutes. Don't hesitate for a minute to try it.More

They are only open for lunch at this location; I wish they were open nights, I'd eat there in the evening also. The moussaka was not like I'm used to, but was good; the spinach pie, vegetarian grape leaves, and muadra (sp) were wonderful. I...found I prefer ordering several "sides" instead of their "specials" or package deal lunches, but I've done that too, and was satisfied (did the Gyros, nicely spiced & flavorful, and tender -- not dry). They take all major credit cards.More

This place is always consistently good, the staff is fun and friendly and they are quick. This is my go to quick downtown work lunch in and out in 30 min.
