If you're gonna eat Canes in Baton Rouge its a worth a trip to the OG location on Highland. The franchise has great flavor and brand consistency across all of its locations, but its neat to go to the building where it all started.

I just don't get all the hype. The only thing here with any flavor is the sauce! The chicken strips may as well be fried cardboard strips. Much better flavor at Chick-Fil-A. But I do think the guy is really good about contributing to events and has a good campaign, obviously! I just don't like the chicken.

Was so excited to find that on our road trip we will hit this Raising Cane, the original Raising Cane's so we had to stop here. Part of our family has tried Raising Cane's in other locations and they weren't too excited but I never tried it so I was really excited to come here so we drove making sure... More

No one can argue- you can't find better chicken fingers anywhere and the Cains sauce is freaky delicious. I have loved Cains since the first one opened next to LSU campus and I will always swear by the chicken. BUT as the years have gone by it has become WAY overpriced. As the chain has gotten bigger, there seems to... More

If you already know about and enjoy Raising Cane's, this historical location needs to be on your radar: This location was the very first Raising Cane's where it all started. However, if you don't already know about the restaurant, the fact is that they only serve chicken fingers and sides. Good chicken fingers, but that's it. My recommendation would be... More

Cane's serves Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut fries, Texas Toast and Cole Slaw with great lemonade. That's IT. Literally. The fries when cooked crisp are awesome and give McDonald's a run for their money. The Texas Toast is REALLY good--thick sweet-ish bread soaked in garlic butter and grilled crisp. The slaw is also good. The Chicken Fingers are high quality meat but... More

Raising Cane's is a Baton Rouge original and this is store number 1, where it all started. They follow the adage of "Do one thing and do it right". They cook chicken fingers and fries, that's all. No fish, no burgers, nothing else. If you don't like chicken, don't go. You can also get either Cane's sauce (a tangy mayo/ketchup... More

I use to love the chicken fingers and sauce but it seems like it isn't that good anymore. The sauce is still "ok", but the chicken fingers lack flavor. The bread is still great and the lemonade is also great.

This is a great place for some really good chicken - and chicken is all they serve. Friendly, reasonably priced, clean and tastes great!
