Small intimate dining with creative menu and very special "specials>" Pasta made in their kitchens, fresh seafood, excellent experience.

The husband and wife owners turn out a fresh, delicious, and consistent product that keeps my girlfriend and I coming back. The service is spot on and the food is extremely well priced for the quality. A must try.

We had a great dinner here and took our team while we were in the city on business. Bruno was an excellent waiter and so helpful with recommendations and answering our questions. We shared the pizza appetizer and it was delicious. Then we each got an entree. The ravioli, carbonara and steak and pasta special were all great! Finally we... More

I recently had the privilege of dining at Nino Italian Restaurant in Baton Rouge. Upon arrival I was greeted at the door and shown a table immediately. The waiter took my drink order came back and gave me the run down on the specials. He made many suggestions and asked me my preferences. This is an Italian restaurant that focuses... More

The husband and wife team that own and run this restaurant are incredible. The husband and chef is phenomenal. He is incredibly picky about the quality of his ingredients, from the herbs to the meats and fish. He almost always has a fish special, and it is always perfection. He cooks healthy too so if you're looking for the usual... More

By far, our best meal in Baton Rouge was at Nino's. You won't see it from the road, and would never stop here on your own, but make sure you do. I had Carbonara that was the real deal. Would go back again, in a heart beat.

Five of us came to Nino's on a Tuesday night with no reservation. We were greeted and seated immediately. The waiter was new and didn't know much about the wine list, but he brought over another server immediately to assist us with a wine choice. The Grilled Heart salad was interesting, but had too much dressing on it for my... More

Excellent food and our waiter was great - attentive and discrete. But, if we had not been there with another couple, the bad attitude of the hostess would have cost them our business. I had made reservations for my husband, me and another couple - four people. This was a birthday dinner. When we arrived and I gave the hostess... More

I have had dinner here are several occasions and I must say that the food is some of the best in town! The pasta is homemade and the sauces are very unique and always fresh tasting. Everything is a la carte but the entrees are reasonably priced as are the salads. They have a nice wine list both by the... More

I wasn't sure what to expect, my brother in law recently moved to Louisiana and was raving for days about having to take us to this place and boy are we happy we came along. One word: FRESH. Also, small portions. I ordered the pasta of the day and seared scallops, both left me wanting for more, not just because... More
