After errands were complete, a late lunch was planned. My husband picked out the restaurant and it was a great choice. He enjoyed the lunch sized fried seafood platter and ate it all. I ordered the perfect size avocado shrimp salad with a great tasting dressing on the side. We had a great attentive server who kept our water glasses... More

Worst experience ever. I put my payment which was a card into the payment envelope and and handled it to the waitress when she came back to the table. She left and then came back and said there is nothing in the envelope. I said I placed my card in the envelope and she opened it and to my surprise... More

We always go here twice a year for lunch. We live 45 miles from Baton Rouge. I had the soecial cafush almondine. My husband had Blackned Mahi Mahi. Our sudes were corn macho, smashed potatoes. They serve you delcious hushpuppies. I have noticed the portions of the fish are smaller. Service is always good. I would highly recommend Ralph's.

This was my first time here at this particular restaurant, though I have dined at Ralph's before. The service was very good and the overall atmosphere was great. The meal was good. I especially enjoyed the crab finger appetizer. The fried shrimp was also very good. Overall it was a very pleasant afternoon out with friends from the area,

The service was personally friendly but professionally average. The food would have to improve to come up to fast food standards. I have made my last visit.

Ralph and Kacoo's is an iconic restaurant in BR, but I won't go again. The atmosphere and decorations are great. The service is good, but the food is mediocre. I ordered a shrimp and crab dish, $18-20, and it was bland, underseasoned. Not what you expect for Cajun seafood dishes. House salad and blue cheese dressing were good. Should have... More

I was disappointed with Ralph's and Kacoo's. It seemed like a poorly run chain restaurant. Food was edible but seemed like processed, frozen entrees. I sat at the bar which the bar top itself was very sticky. I could understand not being properly wiped down if it was busy but I was the only one there. There are so many... More

I revisited Baton Rouge and was hoping to find this place still open. It's been 34 years! They have been open 40 years. Although it is a seafood restaurant, they have the best steak I've ever had. Still delicious. Seafood just as delicious. Hush puppies are wonderful. You get a basket free before your meal.

Our waiter, Daniel, was one of the worst waiters we've had. He told us he was quick like Flash Gordan but seriously needs to watch the show more. I ordered the stuffed shrimp with hollandaise sauce and crab meat topping, sounds good, right. The hollandaise tasted like flour and cotton. The whole meal had no seasoning. I won't be back.
