This place has great food with a Cajon flair. We will go there every time we get the chance when we are in Baton Rouge.

This was our first visit to Parrains. It was wonderful. We were seated quickly. Our waitress was great. The eggplant Ponchartrain is a very good appetizer with plenty of crab and a tasty hollandaise. The fish is very fresh and cooked perfectly. There are many...More

Driving through Baton Rouge we stopped for lunch and were happy we found Parrsain's. It was hard to find s parking spot at 12:30 pm for lunch on a Thursday, but we got a table within 3 minutes. Great food and service !

This is on the upper end of a neighborhood-type New Orleans style restaurant. The bar is stocked with a good choice of labels, numerous beers on tap, and excellent service. The floors are bare wood, no tablecloths, very large menu selection, and CLEAN. The wait...More

You could just order oysters on the half shell, etc. This restaurant is so accommodating that I feel you will have no problems.
