We were recommended this place by more than a few people in the area, both locals and other area visitors. We weren't disappointed. The seafood was excellent, as everyone's dinner choices were raved about. I started with the grilled oysters, which I've never had before, but which I'd definitely recommend (again!). For dinner, I had the Pontchartrain. The fish (some... More

A place to go for good seafood always the drum is my favorite dish !!!!grilled oysters can't miss on those . Can be casual or dressy. And the bacon cheddar ranch salad gets you ready for an amazing meal to come .

Ok, so I hate to discredit a restaurant due to atmosphere, but this place is too loud! The tables are too close together, and everything is wood from ceiling to walls to floors. Good Lord! We could not have a conversation. Also, the service was a bit slow. Our waitress was good, but she was slow getting back with drink... More

Best half shells in town every Tuesday & also best price. Also great service on the oyster bar side. If oysters aren't your thing , then there is an abundance of other seafood. Everything is just plain good.

Extremely great seafood here. I love the catfish with crawfish on top. Can't remember the name of it but it sure is good as well as the fried catfish. It's a bit noisy, but no more than other places. I would recommend Parrain's as a # 10.

The tuna is very good. The half and half is very good. Beer is cold. Good seevers. If you like the chimes you will love this.

We recently chose Parrain's to celebrate our first Anniversary and weren't disappointed. The food was great, the server was friendly and attentive, and it was quiet enough to enjoy conversation.

My wife, two sons, daughter in law and grandson had a wonderful dining experience at Parrain's for Fathers Day. The appetizers, entrees, desserts and service were very good. Our server was very efficient and cordial making my special day with family a great experience.

On my first night in Baton Rouge I wanted to experience a local seafood restaurant and boy was I not disappointed. A great local restaurant as I enjoyed a quick meal at the bar of this venue with just incredibly friendly staff. Had the Delacroix panned fish which was just incredible- perfectly cooked and with a simply tasty scallion creole... More

This entree has catfish, fried oysters, tender fried alligator bites, shrimp, stuffed shrimp, seafood gumbo and cornmeal hush puppies. If you want a medley of great seafood, then this is it. Although it is $24,it is worth the cost. This restaurant is very notable to the people of Baton Rouge.Just ask someone about Parrains... More
