Mike Anderson's is very popular with Baton Rouge residents because it is a restaurant that serves excellent seafood. This place is large and full of people all the time due to its popularity. Try their local recipes to experience Louisiana food as it should be served. Saturday nights tend to be crowded.

Great food, great service. Seated quickly on a Sunday afternoon. Just a little noisy for me, but a good atmosphere. I'll go again.

They managed to cater to our large group without any problems. Food portions were large and those of us who tried local dishes were satisfied with our choices. For the drinks you might want to stay within the beer options as cocktails were average.

This is my favorite seafood restaurant. Best charbroiled oysters in town. All 3 restaurants are very good. Daily specials are good value and filling. The seafood platter the mother of all will always leave you with delicious leftovers. Make a reservation if it is after labor day for Friday and Saturday or you will wait, but it's worth it.

We had a group of 7 on Friday night. It took a while to be seated, but, we chalk that up to a larger group. The waiter was enthusiastic and provided details about the dishes. One of our party did not want seafood and suggestions were offered to her as an alternative. Food was served hot and fresh. Only drawback... More

Always an enjoyable place to eat and gather with friends and family. The blackened black drum was excellent as too was the fried alligator.

We went on a Saturday night around 8pm and di not want to wait for a table so we sat at the bar. Outstanding service. The bar was full but we never lacked for anything. In-house made bloody mary mix was the perfect amount of spicy and plenty strong. Oysters cold and fresh - the burger - OH MY!!!! Exploding... More

This is what my sister said as we left the restaurant, and I agree. What a great place to eat time and time again. I have never been disappointed. Get the chargrilled oysters for an appetizer and then any entree is great. Jumbo shrimp, yes! Crabmeat au gratin, yes! Whatever! And if you're lucky, you'll get Grant for a waiter!... More
