We had to wait for a table when several looked empty. The food was just mediocre (seafood was overcooked) and the waiter forgot to bring our salad before our entrée. If your looking for just regular fare then you will be fine. The atmosphere did...More

Waited 2 hours for a table, and then was rushed through our meal. The beer menu was amazing, and the shrimp nacho app was also terrific. But, our main courses were just ok all told. The spicy shrimp po boy was good but the fries...More

Chimes has a wide selection of food but it’s seafood and duck and sausage gumbos are some of the best in town. They also have a wide selections of beer!!

Our title sums it all. We had a burger (delicious) and a shrimp poboy (awful and tasteless). The poboy we had at a chain a few days earlier was so much better than what we were served at the Chimes. It was a dissapointing visit.

Chimes has the best Spinach and Artichoke dip with the fried bowtie pasta noodles! Their cheese fries are delicious too and come with a bunch of melty cheese! They have a great beer selection. They also have a nice brunch!

No matter when we go or what we order, The Chimes is always good! I have not had a bad dish yet. Excellent atmosphere, consistently good food. Cannot go wrong.

Great night out. The drinks and the food are fantastic. Went with a Louisiana “newbie” and he got a great intro to creole cuisine. Couldn’t believe how affordable the check was after we tried just about everything on the menu. Highly recommend Chimes.

We were at LSU visiting our Tiger and decided to have dinner here because it’s always recommended on the LSU parent page. It’s was just ok. I had the salmon with dill sauce. The salmon was good, but the sauce didn’t taste like a dill...More

Although the Chimes is a bit too expensive for an every day college student, I did visit there with my family when they were in town. We had a fantastic time, and the food was great. I got the jalapeño burger (i think that’s what...More
