Just drank here and enjoyed a really good list of beers to choose from. Didn't have Meals here but other people seemed to have come for the food. We had consistently excellent service. Visited more than 4 times in a week.

The food is very consistent. The beer is always cold and the crowd varies with the time of day. I like late lunch crowd... a fine set of bartenders that smile and mean it.

Cajun and seafood cuisine served up in a casual and friendly atmosphere. It's a happening place from opening to close. Bar is large and a great place to meet friends, business associates.

Salads, seafood and Gumbo are excellent choices for lunch. Evening entrees are excellent and they have an excellent selection of beers and wine for those who wish to imbibe.

This restaurant is the trifecta. The beer selection is amazing, and the price point is great. The food...let's just say I left the place in the most amazing food comma EVER. We had the fried pickles for the table; and then I had the Duck & Sausage gumbo (I must try), along with the BBQ Shrimp and Grits, with rolls... More

Totally love this place! The raw oysters are a must! Friendly atmosphere, great service, pub food the best and the prices are great! If you are new to the area and dropping off your kid to LSU, you must go take the time and experience a truly great place to eat and relax!

First trip to Baton Rouge and my mother researched for weeks to find the best red beans and rice. this is the place! Cool location right by LSU. Parking is limited. Bar/pub type, but kids are ok. Every dish was excellent and we all had a whole other meal to take home. So Much Food! Beer was cold, tea was... More

This is a nice place. Used to be a drug store right off the LSU campus. Tastefully renovated. Pleasant happy place with spotty service and food that is at best only decent. I find the service and atmosphere best in the well stocked bar. Good place to drink unusual beer and meet interesting people. They have opened branches in the... More

My three sons love The Chimes for food, beer, and sports TV. The poboys and burgers are very good. This is not fine dining, but it never advertised as such. Always a good time but can be loud during a big sports event.
