Start with the Swamp Water cocktail.. Light and fruity, with plenty of alcohol. Then on to anything for dinner, can't go wrong. The ribeye (Prime beef) and stuffed potato are heavenly! They must have an angel in the kitchen kissing each crispy, delicate hush puppy! The stuffed shrimp is perfection, and very generous portions. Friendly staff, and great leadership shines... More

We went up to tour LSU as a possibility of colleges and was recommended this by someone who went to school their years ago and also the hotel staff where we were staying. I ordered the red beans and rice with sausage. The food was fairly good definitely not the best selection on the menu which is why I ordered... More

Stopped for lunch while driving through Baton Rouge. Really cool restaurant with fun atmosphere. We got the bbq shrimp po-boy and crawfish etouffe. Both were amazing. The Beer menu is awesome. Definitely a place I would visit again!

The Chimes has a college pub feel and I'm sure it's popular with students during weekend evening. We went with several families and there there were food options for everyone. All of the food was great...we started with the fried pickles. The beer menu is huge, and it was difficult to select a beer with lunch.

Ordered the catfish and boudin balls. Delicious! My wife ordered the Blackened Salmon salad and said it was just mediocre. The salmon was good, but the salad consisted of just boring iceberg lettuce with no tomatoes, cucumbers or any other vegetable. The homemade blue cheese dressing was good as were the small crispy garlic toasts that came with it.

Our first visit to Baton Rouge to see the LSU Alabama game . A college student suggested this as a stop . Mimosas were huge - service was excellent And it was crowded . The waitress was very knowledgeable about gluten free items . Food was all very good . A must

Interesting crowd, typical quick order food, atmosphere was jubilant over Halloween and music was loud. Service was adequate. Typical ballgame on TV bar and lounge. College crowd to Seniors through early twenties.

The Chimes is one of my go-to restaurants when we can't decide on a particular place because they have everything. I've never really had a bad meal here, I also worked as a server at the EAST location. My favorite def the seafood gumbo.

Chimes is fantastic! I have only been to Baton Rouge twice but Chimes was a favorite stop on both trips. They have an outstanding beer list and the food is great. I tried the roast beer po boy this time around and it was delicious (but huge! I took home half to eat for lunch the next day!). Highly recommend!!
