Multiple Visits All Good

First discoverd Nagoya in early January. Have been back at least 8 times in 2 months. Food is excellent, service top notch, and price is very reasonable for all-you-can eat. Have introduced 3 different people to the restaurant and every one of them loved it and plans to return (with or without me). Owner is always there and she makes everyone feel welcome. Like that the portions are appetizer size so you can try many different dishes each time you go ... since buffet is closed down during the pandemic, you order from the menu as many dishes as you want until you're full. Highly recommend.

Sushi Go To!

Two disclaimers to start. First, I eat almost exclusively from the sushi offerings, and second, I stop in when I plan to eat a rediculous amount of it. That said, if you're looking for the authentic sushi experience, you're likely to be disappointed, not for the food offerings as much as it never promises to be that sort of dinning experience. If, on the other hand, you're interested in eating a decent variety of sushi and rolls at an affordable price, it's a must stop. Be aware most cuts of fish are acceptable, not superior. If your palatte is broad for the variety they offer, it is a dinning experience that satisfies the sushi tooth without breaking the bank.

So. I really HATE to do this because pre corona this place was the bomb!! Today is the 1stbday that the dining room is open for sit-down but it is NOT the same Nagoya. If you are looking for that save it. Firstly, the buffet is $14.99 plus tax! Yikes! The food was awful, save the sushi and hibachi. They should've waited to open because this was disappointing. The only had ice cream for dessert and not even blu bell. The teriyaki chicken was disgusting. They took some pieces of chicken and threw some sauce on top. I went for the boiled shrimp but was told its only for dinner. I wonder how much dinner is?!The menu is very limited. I understand restaurants are trying to recoup, but I won't pay another $16 for what I just ate which was barely anything. Save your money go somewhere else!

Went there @ 4;15 pm on a Sunday. The men's room had no soap in the 2 dispensers and there was no paper towels. With all those people using the big spoons, you need to wash your hands. I thought, how do the employees wash there hands?!!! We were waiting for other people and wanted a drink while waiting. The waitress would not bring it. I had to go to the bar and get it! The miso soup is the best thing on the line. The hot boiled shrimp were ok. All the other food was not fresh. It probably sat out sense they opened. Much to expensive for the food they offer. Hunan down the street is much better for about 1/2 the price. This place has gone down sense they opened around 2006. I will never go back.

great food, but bad experience with the waitress

today january 11, 2019 we ate ate Nagoya Baton Rouge on Sherwood Forest. The foods are great! i get to taste half of the food displays. we enjoyed it. its just that when after 2 of our companions went ahead and paid separately, 4 of us who are still eating and enjoying the foods, bill was forced onto us by the waitress. and every time she pass by our table she expedites with gestures about the bills. she became impatient and looked irate. take note that we are still eating and plans to try more desserts. is this not a buffet? other customers are left alone on their tables eating. by why not us? oh i forget to say that 4 of us left are asians. we plan to go back there and eat again, but after our experience from their waitress, we doubt we will be back there.

I get hesitant when someone offers me sushi at a buffet. I'm so glad I took a chance on this place, though! The all-you-can-eat buffet is divided into hibachi, sushi, dim sum, and dessert sections. Each has a good variety of offerings (the sushi selection is a nice mix of cooked and raw options) and should have something to satisfy everyone. The dessert bar has over a dozen flavors of ice cream. Almost unheard of! The dining atmosphere is casual but nice. Kids are certainly welcome. My friend and I had a very hearty evening meal for only $40 - that's a steal when you consider how many different rolls we sampled!

I didn't like the buffet selection as there wasn't very much that I liked. The hibachi grill is amazing. I really like the selection of veggies that they give you which is more than most places.

All you can eat Sushi, what coulee be better

Second visit to this restaurant, and just as good the second time. You can literally go up as much as you want, just get a new plate. There is so much selection that I like a friend said the Dim Sum selection wasn't the best, but the sushi selection is, rows and rows of it as well as raw fish. They also have hot food as well not just seafood, there is meats as well as vegetable dishes. The plates are replenished regularly and there is lots to chose from. They also have crab and craw fish as well. They have salad and deserts as well as 16 different varieties of ice cream. We went in early which was best as it was quiet and all the food was stocked up. Servers are attentive and take away the used plates regularly.

When in Baton Rouge we visit here regularly .... kids love it ... food is good , service is great it is a buffet but quality is good. Hibachi bar has great selection and ice cream bar is always a hit.

Everything from appetizers and salads to fruits and vegetables are offered here. The sushi is made right in front of you before putting it out on the plates up for grab. The cuisines are made fresh everyday and prepared by the best chefs available.
