Husband and I had to go to Whitesburg for an appointment. We wanted to find someplace to eat that had a sit down dining room. So we came here. Restaurant had Covid recommended seating so we were seated near the back. Took a while for...a waitress to take our order and my husband finally had to stand up and ask someone to come and get our order, but when she got there she was super nice and efficient. He got the chicken strips and I got steak tips. Some of the best steak tips I’ve ever eaten. Cooked to perfection and the taste was great. I ordered a side salad and it was big enough for 2-3 people. Really pleased with our meals and our waitress. This place is an asset to Whitesburg. I open it survives Covid closures. Definitely will eat there again when in the area. Price was reasonable also.More

Apparently this was their first day open, post-covid. We were in the area staying at an Airbnb and our hosts recommended Pine Mt Grill. From the moment we were greeted at the front, to our very attentive server, and all points in between, everything was...on-point. It was obvious that there was an adjustment with new rules in place because of covid, but the restaurant appeared to be running smoothly & efficiently. Our favorite menu item was definitely the ribeye, cooked and seasoned exactly how we like. The small gift shop was a nice surprise also. Would definitely eat here again if we're back in the areaMore

Very clean restaurant with seating available for larger parties. I had the open face roast beef sandwich which came with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. It was recommended by our server and was excellent as he said it was. My business associate had the salad bar...and a bowl of Momas Chili which he said was very good too. Highly recommend this if you are in the area.More

Had two meals here over a recent multi-day visit. Sunday lunch featured a really fresh and delicious salad bar, which contrasted sharply with the inedible catfish entree and vegetables poured out of a Sysco can. Monday breakfast was an “omelet,” which was really a fried...egg folded over some sausage and far too many hash browns. Coffee was good, though, the people were friendly, and they were open when lots of other folks weren’t. Next time, I’ll stick with the salad bar and do breakfast at McDonald’s.More

After hiking to Bad Branch Falls and a few other area trails on a delightfully cold, clear November 1, stripping off the coveralls and stretching tired legs under a Pine Mountain Grill table was just what my husband and I needed before settling in for...the night! Couldn’t have asked for better service or food! And the ambiance was so cozy and relaxing!More

The Pine Mountain Grill offers a good selections of menu items. They have food ranging from home cooking items to steaks to burgers to sandwiches to more. The salad bar is always great and one of the biggest reasons that I go to the Pine...Mountain Grill. My last visit I got teriyaki grilled chicken, a baked potato, and the salad bar. None of them were disappointing in the least. The restaurant also offers a great selection of gift/home decor items. You can always find a gift for that hard to buy for person there.More

PMG is an oasis in a land of fast food. At our visit we were seated promptly, Lunch was served quickly and the food was filling. The burger that supports local s hooks is a 1/2 patty between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches. It’s a bit...much— in a good way! The place has a Cracker Barrellesque gift shop Stocked with merch your wife will love!More

I went there a few weeks back with my wife's family from Whitesburg upon recommendations from them and several other people. I actually had high hopes upon first walking inside. The decor was very nice and it smelled great. Service started off great as we...had a kind waitress who quickly got our drinks and orders. I will also say the restroom is one of the cleaner ones that I have seen in awhile. After what seemed like a good 30 minutes, our food finally came out. I got the pulled pork sandwich on cornbread with fries. I wasn't too wild on the taste of the meat or the sauce, but the cornbread was great. Halfway through eating my sandwich, one of the kids at our table found a long dark hair in his bbq ribs. After that I think everyone was done with eating because we were all double checking every bite we took and most lose their appetite. Once we told the waitress, she apologized and said that it was embarrassing and that it was the second time that day that someone had found a long dark hair in their food. She offered to get the kid something else, but he stated that he didn't want anymore to eat. I was also shocked afterwards that the manager didn't come over to the table to apologize or to inquire as to what happened. Once we went up to pay, the cashier got the manager to come over and speak with my father in law. The manager took the kids meal off the bill, apologized, and said that it was embarrassing and that he hoped we would come back and try it again sometime. After we left, the kid said that he didn't want to go back again. Maybe it was an off night for them after reading the other reviews. I'll end by saying please get your employees some hair nets!More
