We were visiting friends on a boat nearby and decided to have Sunday Lunch here, the staff were so very friendly and welcoming it was a pleasure to eat here. The lunch i found to be good value at £11.95 each and the food was very well served and very hot. The only very minor issue was the veg served... More

We booked early and walked over the toll bridge from Pangbourne (parking can be easier in Pangbourne ) and our table was waiting for us. The staff are attentive and the menu should provide something for everyone to enjoy. There is a specials board that adds a little variety for regulars. Food is cooked to order so there can be... Friendly service. Staff genuinely care that you're enjoying your meal. Good pub food, all the classics with a bit more than average variety on the menu. Generous portion sizes, so pretty good value given this and it's location. Welcome children and do smaller portions. Nice atmosphere. We had a lovely meal here and will be visiting again :)

Food was amazing, absolutely delicious. Brilliant service and lovely staff. Definitely recommend, but probably need to book. Pub is beautiful, very nice decor. Landlord is good fun, and staff all joined in the banter. We had a great evening and will definitely be back. Loved it, best pub in the area!!

We were a group of eight walkers on our first visit to the Ferryboat on a Sunday afternoon. It was quite busy but the landlord made us welcome and showed us to a couple of tables without a problem although we had not booked. We enjoyed our drinks and the food was served in good time by the friendly landlord.... More

I have visited this pub 4 times and the experience was pleasant and welcoming. The staff are friendly and approachable. The only down side is you only get pint sized dishes of sauce and you have to ask at the bar for more. The pub is very cosy, warm and has a friendly atmosphere.

It is an old pub, but now mostly a restaurant, a 5 minute walk from the river Thames, where there is a toll bridge to Pangbourne in Berkshire. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good food, huge helpings.

Service was OK although a little haphazard. Wine list was, happily, somewhat out of the ordinary. Food was average for a pub, and so disappointing.

I visited this pub yesterday with a group of other people for a pre-arranged lunch. The room adjacent to the main bar had been put aside for us (24 in total) which was perfectly adequate and had just been redecorated. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff very helpful and attentive. The food was of the sort that you... More

We took a family group of nine here for Sunday lunch and our experience could not have been better. The location is fantastic and the décor looks freshly done. The menu is very varied and there was nothing on it we wouldn't have tried. The staff are very helpful and polite. The service was prompt. The quality of the food... More
