Gold Rush Cafe is the only place I know of in Paducah where you can order Scotch Eggs. Something you need to try at least once. They have unusual and delicious waffles - Smores waffle, etc. They do a great job catering also with good southern cooking.

This a is wonderful small cafe. So glad we decided to eat there for lunch. The food was cooked to perfection and homemade. Not your frozen hamburger patties either. It is kid friendly and a very relaxed atmosphere. The rating was taped to the front door and it was rated an A. We ordered hamburgers and fries with a cup... More

I do love Gold Rush. Food is consistently good down home cooking. It is starting to show wear inside and the place could use a good scrub down (especially the floors and bathrooms). Servers are hit and miss and this time she was a little surly. Still like going, but....

If you are looking for a nice little cafe for a good breakfast, this is your place. Their average pricing & homemade food makes for a great visit. We enjoy eating here when in town.

Always creative specials! Delicious food, consistently well prepared! Setting is an old timey diner setting that was started like 60 years ago by one family who only recently sold it to a young couple who have totally transformed it!

Very unique dining experience! Different menu options daily, delicious homemade specials, delectable desserts, and biscuits the size of your face! Breakfast, lunch, or supper... It's all good!

Been here several times and it never disappoints. Service is always great, food is great (usually get the Chili Mac Burger), and leave satisfied. Specials change frequently and are usually worth checking out. Great for all ages and families as well! Glad we have this GEM in our area!

We go every Saturday almost! The food is great, servers are polite, and the atmosphere is nice too. My husband loves the bread pudding waffles, and I love the cajun mac and cheese, and the cheese sticks are awesome too!

My party of 4 stopped by during the week for lunch. It was a homely little place with a western theme (obviously). Two of us had the BLFGT = BL with fried green tomato. It was awesome and I would def order it again. We also order the special of the day, the gyro and a mushroom swiss burger. We... More
