We attended a rehearsal dinner here last weekend. The day of the rehearsal the manager actually had the nerve to call the grooms parents and tell them that because it was raining and cold, the space we reserved outside was not available so they had no room for us! Can you believe that? The contract even included coverage and a... More

Stopped here based on previous recommendations. Wanted authentic German food. I know authentic German food as I was born and grew up in Deutschland (Germany). The service was friendly and attentive. Our server made some recommendations which we took some and passed on others. The Hofbrauhaus although looked the part of an authentic Bavarian-Munich style Bierhaus, the food that I... More

My sister and I were in Cincinnati for a visit, and we met five of our relatives here for dinner. It was a Friday night, so they hit us up with a parking fee. I think it is a little ridiculous that you have to pay to park to eat there on the weekends. I get they they are trying... More

My companion and I don't drink beer (which is the highlight of this German restaurant), but we ordered a Reisling wine that was perfect for the meal. Instead of ordering two entrees, we split the Jaegerschnitzel, great choice, the schnitzel would have been too big for either of us to eat. We also got the pretzel appetizer with mustard. I... More

If I say that we had 25 family and friends in town and ONE server took care of all of us in EXCELLENT fashion, it would sound unbelievable. BUT Teri waited on all us, kept the "bier" and drinks flowing, food was on time, correct and delicious. And we were all up and milling around in the bIer stube, which... More

This is our first time eating at a Bifbrauhaus in the US and first time for the kids. The environment was great. Very similar to the one in Munich. Beer was great and the good was ok. However, just not the same as the original one. After living in Germany for eight years makes it hard to compete. For those... More

When recently visiting the Cincinnati area for a Reds game we parked on the Kentucky side of the river and had lunch at the Hofbrauhaus before walking across the pedestrian bridge to the ballpark. We had the large pretzel with sauces for the appetizer which was delicious. All of our sandwiches were served on pretzel buns that added to the... More

Sooo glad we followed the advice of the previously posted reviews. I already have a wish list for what I will order next time I have the opportunity to go. Borscht was wonderful. Salmon was mouthwatering. Warm, soft pretzels make your eyes roll to the back of your head. This is food nirvana, people!!

Our server Annie was very good and had a smile. She was prompt and friendly. Not so much with the others. The other servers walked around frowning and didn't seem to want to be there. One girl sloshed beer every time she walked by. I will stick with the Columbus Hofbräuhaus when visiting again.

I'm sorry to hear you felt this way. Most of our staff have been with us since we opened and are very happy. We'd like to hear more about what you saw and when so that we can find out what was going on. Is your 2 star review based on only that? How was your food, bier and service... More

We stopped for lunch. Great decor and very friendly service. Get the beer taster! The brats were all delicious as was the wiener schnitzel. The place must be wild at nights with music and open menu with many choices. Recommended!
