We ate breakfast here one morning - great alternative to the English Grill. Food and service were outstanding. Best deal is the breakfast buffet!

Had a Hot Brown! Delicious. Charming interior, great atmosphere and service. Wonderful history for horse people too.

We had to come here for lunch to experience the legendary Hot Brown -- a rich and delicious open-faced sandwich dish made up of turkey breast, mornay sauce, romano cheese and bacon and then baked. Apparently it dates back to the 1920's. The room itself is lovely and the service was very old-school in the best way: attentive but not... More

A gracious and helpful staff makes the signature dish, the Hot Brown, even better. A Hot Brown and sweet ice tea is a perfect Southern lunch

While I've never had a bad experience here, this week my expectations were surpassed. The service from management to bus person was exceptional. Each day I ate here I had a different group of serving staff, but the service didn't change. The food was delicious and after asking questions about the recipe, the chef came out to discuss the meal.... More

This is the home of the original "Hot Brown"........ Do not miss this cafe. Everything else we tried was absolutely delicious including the omelets, Texas toast, breakfast potatoes, cheese grits. They offer food all day, but we were only able to take in the breakfast and brunch.

We only ate breakfast here but did have their famous Hot Brown. It was excellent and a lot for one person. Not inexpensive, but it was really good. Our waitress was extremely nice, and it was a very busy time when we were in. Not sure what other meals would be like. They did have a large breakfast buffet which... More

Had the original Hot Brown and glad I did. It was very good but service was even better. I would recommend if you want less formal then other two Brown Hotel restaurants.

You simply must try the original hot brown! It is made with freshly roasted turkey, a perfect mornay sauce and delicious bacon. We enjoyed everything we got and the attentive service enhanced our experience. This is a historic gem that you don't want to miss.
