First time visitor review, but surely not the last time as I will come back! Like many, I wanted to try the famous Hot Brown and so glad I did. Very very tasty. But concerning the café, it was equally fantastic. Valet parking if you need it, splendid and beautiful building with the famous hotel furnishing around you. From the... More

Husband's review: Ok, so I researched the HOT BROWN before my trip to L'ville. I was bent on getting one, no matter what. Where else to go, than the original? Many others had it on their menu, but this is where it originated from - gotta go there. Came by for lunch on a Thursday around 12.45. Seated immediately on... More

Buffet to start the day..... All manor of delights await the patron to start the day. The Staff is friendly, professional and old school. The cuisine has it all; really!! The Hot Brown Casserole does with the name sake and hits spot on to fill and feast. The digs are very pricey for a couple of buffets but, it is... More

Having planned to spend two nights in The Brown Hotel, we wanted to split a Hot Brown for brunch. The lobby bar was closed so on the first floor we found J Grahams Cafe to be a more then presentable coffee shop alternative. The place is decorated very nicely and has large windows looking out on the street. Seating is... More

Went here for breakfast! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious but took about 20 minutes after order to receive. They were not particularly busy either

Starting with the lovely greeting from Sue at the Hostess stand, I felt like I'd be in for a nice fancy little lunch by myself without feeling lonely. Better to arrive after 11:30 AM if you want to partake of their wonderful lunch buffet. I arrived at 11AM and opted for the Kale Salad ($11) with chicken breast added for... More

We had to have a "Hot Brown" before I left the hotel so we stopped by J. Grahams. The Hot Brown was very good, but the service was unbelievable. I have dined at multiple 5 star restaurants and the service at J. Grahams was the best service that I have ever received. Highly recommend J. Grahams.

I stopped in to try the Hot Brown Sandwich that was originated at the Brown hotel and it was great. I ordered the 1/2 sandwich and guess what they only charged me 1/2 the price. I would recommend everyone near the hotel try the sandwich. It is an open turkey sandwich covered with cheese, tomatoes, and bacon. I believe the... More

This is the only place in the hotel to get breakfast so it is convenient. The staff was very friendly . I am a breakfast person so an order of toast and coffee will not suffice. I tried to order a basic breakfast and it was good , but a little pricy if you are not on an expense account.... More

The Sunday buffet at the Brown Hotel is worth a visit. The traditional breakfast offerings are all available and delicious/ but can't compete with the Hot Brown Casserole. It's a tasty and hearty way to start the day.
