Try the Mixed Berry Salad; the strawberry vinaigrette dressing is delicious. The Margherita Naan Flatbread was very good also.

We did a lot of research to find the best original Kentucky food. This place is where the Kentucky Brown was first created. We had to try one and it didn't disappoint. We also knew that they served Derby Pie made by Kern's bakery. It is so good. So, the food lived up to our expectations. The atmosphere was very... More

Our waiter was having a bad day or he doesn't like his job. Big portions and good drinks. The sauce on the hot browns was great.

We stayed close by and decided to stop in for a Hot Brown. My research showed that the Brown Hotel invented it so we made it a bucket list outing. The hotel is beautiful and has that old early century charm. Service was a little slow, but friendly. The Hot Brown was unique for us. Even though I'm a Kentucky... More

Had the breakfast buffet. Good assortment but bad coffee. The breakfast potatoes were good and their fruit offerings were quite nice, including berries.

The buffet was elegant. This was also another chance to taste the savory bacon and turkey on The Brown sandwich!

Stopped here on a very quiet Jan 2 for the Hot Brown. Our waiter, Nick, couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Kids had a burger (pretty good) and BLT (very nice) but husband and I went with the strength. We'll probably be going for Lipitor later but it was worth it! I'll happily run an extra three (or 30)... My husband and I had Sunday brunch and it was a shining example of customer service! Our waitress opened with "I'm Lindsey and I'm here to take excellent care of you!" And she did not disappoint. The hot brown was just as amazing and the ambiance is fantastic.
